No Complaints, But....Posted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: Location was not in the heart of town but easily walkable. Close to bus stop, easy to visit Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. Clean, comfortable.
Cons: Give the place some island flavor!
I can't say there was anything to complain about with this inn. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet. Minimal staff but they were pleasant and helpful. The location was walkable to town and right next to a bus shop and a Stop and Shop. So my negative comments are more observations than complaints. This inn could have been picked up and moved to Cleveland without a blink, and by that I mean, there was no island charm here at all. There was nothing quaint or unique about this place, and I suppose I wouldn't even care if it wasn't so crazy expensive. Ok, I realize it was Martha's Vineyard in season, but even so, after seeing the place - AND having to schlep my suitcase up a flight of stairs because there was no assistance or elevators - it definitely felt overpriced. Again, nothing really wrong but for ambiance I would stay somewhere else next time.

Very nice island facility - convenient!Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Convenient location. Clean bright rooms. Overall well maintained. Good parking. Reasonable rates for this location.
Cons: The Continential Breakfast is quite poor. Limited offerings and generally on the less than healthy variety. should fix it or forget it.
Location: As mentioned above the location for us was great. Easy to walk down town to all Edgartown activities. Also easy to drive to all other parts of Island.
We found the Clarion to be very convenient for our travels all around Martha's Vineyard. Easy to walk to all activities in Edgartown. Also, an easy take off point for driving to all other places on the Island. The parking is more than adequate which is a real plus on this Island. The Clarion is well maintained with pleasing decore and clean bright rooms. There is a Continential Breakfast but it is generally inadequate. Plus there are much more interesting options in town. We would use it again.

Nothing special but good and clean.Posted Jun 6, 2015
Mary at front desk was very helpful. This hardworking lady took time out from cleaning up the coffee stations and maning the front desk to recommend dining spots. Breakfast was coffee, cereal and English muffin with a toaster that took forever. There was some kind of automated pancake maker that I would not recommend.

Nice place but they started sanding outside walls at 8:30 am and it was a susurprise. It would have been good to have advance notice.
