Nice cabin close to the Glacier National Park

Posted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: The restaurant attached to the reception is great!
Cons: All is good. The receptionist was in a bit of a grumpy mood - a smile does not harm.
Very comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious.

A nice Motel.

Posted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: Small and quite.
Cons: Everything is alright being lift alone is the best thing.
Location: Not to far from Glacier Park.
Everything was just fine! I would stay there again.

Comfort at the Tamarack

Posted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: Large comfortable rooms with a lot of amenities, quick access to the highway, gorgeous location with a beaver pond within short walking distance.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: We didn't get out much, but Glacier Park is a short drive away, as is the very scenic Hungry Horse Dam.
My boyfriend and I were traveling to visit a family member who was very ill, knowing it would be the last time we'd see them. The lodge made our somber visit with family much more comfortable than it otherwise would have been. I'm so grateful to them for hosting us during a difficult time. It felt so comfortable and homey, a wonderful place to rest when rest was truly needed!

Great stay in an historic lodge-near Glacier

Posted Oct 14, 2015
Pros: Cozy, clean and comfortable. Near Glacier National Park
Location: hiking
We had a great experience at the lodge. We stayed in the Moose Room. Very clean, with a nice porch area and the ability to hang out downstairs in the comfy common area. Staff helpful. A little rustic, but we love that feel.

Helpful and friendly staff

There was consfusion regarding our reservation. We had expected 2 queen size beds and only had one. The staff was helpful and let us upgrade to a 2 bed room at no extra charge. The room was clean and roomy.

Nice place

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Staff, quick response to our one and only maintenance request (burned out light bulb), unique cabins.
Cons: Provide A/C.
Location: Plan on spending at least an entire day touring Glacier National Park. The entire Flathead Valley is awesome. Go rafting on the river.
We stayed in a cute little cabin. It was quaint, too bad the area was seeing some of the highest temps they have had in a while. Not having A/C made the sleeping not so good. The ceiling fan and window fan helped. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, have micro wave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, plus I got to stay in touch with the outside world via the provided Wi-fi. Since we were in the area for a wedding, we did not partake of the amenities that the lodge provides. Didn't even take the time to see the Llama.

I already emailed my comments previously

Pros: Nothing - worse in my 76 years of traveling
Cons: Blow it up.
Location: Glacial National Park 8 miles away.
Horrible - no air conditioning when the temperatures that day hit 100 degrees (read previous report).

Would not stay again

Posted Jun 1, 2015
The room had sticky stuff on the floor, it smelled musty, bathroom shower curtain not clean and smelled very moldy. Staff when registered in the afternoon was very accommodating and friendly. Staff when check out in am was not friendly or accommodating and did not seem to know their job.
