Terrible

Our room was dirty! We had hair in the sink and the corners of the tub. Our towels appeared to be dirty with pubic hair on them. Tables had a greasy film on them. Not sure if it was not wiped down or the cleaner residue. We also spent the night killling bed bugs and couldn't get a hold of anyone to switch rooms.

Unpleasant stay

Check out is 3pm got there 4pm there's 1 available room he said but won't give it to us after 15mins and has no manners at all he's leaving the guest unattended and do other stuff and not saying excuse me or anything. Got to the room to found out no towels asked housekeeping and said go to front desk I called front desk and was told to looked in the cabinets told him none but he said someone will come to drop towels but unfortunately nobody came my entire stay! The staff was very rude and doesn't really know etiquette and professionalism especially the small guy with glasses this experienced happened twice already with him! everyone is lazy and doesn't seem to care with their guests. The only thing that makes me coming back here is the fact that it's cheap make your rate lower and I'll stop complaining!

Pros: Price, updated room
Cons: Curtain don't close all the way to block out light and view to outside
Location: Freeway 4 entrance close, John Muir house, downtown Martinez,
good service, room clean. parking area somewhat clean. Only complaint was curtains did not close to block outside light. AC, bathroom and bed good

Housekeeping always knocks on the door and front desk doesn't know "GUESS SATISFACTION" and don't know how to approach in a professional manner. NEEDS TRAINING IN DEALING WITH GUESTS' CONCERNS.

TERRIBLE

at 9 pm we checked in. tried to take bath at 9:45pm. NO hot water. we called front desk. ya, we know. plumber will be here tomorrow. you can just take a cold one for tonight. ????????? place was filthy. trash, cig butts, ghetto special. no upkeep or maintainance. rooms were clean--the maid crew did a GREAT job. front desk people--NO people skills. breakfast room was filthy. needed a steam cleaner job done on it
