Please stay someplace else; you'll thank me later

Pros: Beds were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Whole place was dirty. Poorly lit. Uncaring staff and management. "We Don't Rent To Locals" sign on door.
No. Just no. So I get out of my car and head into the lobby to check in, and I’m greeted by a sign on the door that reads, “WE DON’T RENT TO LOCALS.” Being from a neighboring state, I’m hoping that I live far enough away to stay here. Even though I had no problems checking in, it’s the sort of sign that screams, “You made a big mistake picking hotels!” Though I was curious to ask what prompted such a sign, I decided against it. The lobby itself is dirty and dingy, and not very well lit. My guest room needs an upgrade. It’s cold, and after I turn the heat on, the front panel of the HVAC unit falls open. I spent two nights in the hotel and try as I might I can’t get it shut again. My bathroom is also very poorly lit. Beds were clean and comfortable, and that was a bright spot, until 4:30am when the room phone rings. I had never placed a wakeup call. When my alarm finally does go off at 6:00am, I find a most unpleasant sensation: Water beneath my bare feet in a spreading puddle in the rug from the refrigerator. I head downstairs to breakfast, but on my way down I notice that the trash bins are overflowing. They remain that way for the next day. I asked for it to be fixed but nothing happened. The breakfast room is off the lobby, and while the offerings are adequate, I do notice one thing missing: Water. They have pitchers of apple and orange “juice”—probably Tang or some other orange drink, really—but no water available. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else.

Hotel is outdated but fine for a nights stay

Pros: Location and reasonable price
Cons: The hotel seems outdated
Location: Harpers Ferry and a 5K in Martinsburg
The hotel is outdated but fine for a night or two. The staff was friendly and they had some breakfast items available.

Reminds me of Bates Motel

This is run by a family. They are unprofessional and unfriendly. They don't cater to the guest or accommodate their wishes. Three times I asked for extra towels. I never received them. The room was dreary and dozens of flies flew inside the window. I sprayed as many as I could with hairspray. I needed help with luggage. They sent their 9 year old granddaughter to help me. Second worse motel I ever stayed at.

We had to ask 3 days in to get new linen, beds made. Beds suck, feels like frame was broken in the center, back hurt every morning. Good price though, great hospitality.

Convenience to interstate.

Pros: Friendly staff and don't "rent" to locals.
Cons: The carpet in the room was wet near the sliding glass door and began to have an odor.
Location: Just a quick stop over.
Room ready when checked in. Friendly and helpful staff.

Noise

Pros: Breakfast well presented. Personnel very nice. Nice parking lot.
Cons: Redesign ALL interiors, and please, please change those thin windows.
Location: Good Location, tricky access.
The next door room kept the radio on the whole night, and it was not occupied. Windows are as thin as air. You could hear a rock trapped in a tire from a truck in the highway. Turned AC's fan on to mitigate highway noise, worthless. Furniture scratched old, and decrepit.

Good central location

I guess we didn't expect much for the price, but staffing at the front desk is virtually non existent. The floors of the room and hallway were dirty.

Dimly lit, poor front staff

The front staff consisted of a lady and her mother. Mother was slow and didn't know what to do. Daughter flirted with construction workers while I waited. Room was so dimly lit I needed a flashlight. Add some light bulbs !!!
