The cleanliness, the 4 star hotel at a 2 star price. Specially their free hot breakfast menu which includes make yourself hot waffle, egg, sausage, hot cereal, yogurt, bread, creemcheese, muffins, raisin bagels, 4 types of real juices options. Rooms have all facilities, even exterior swimming pool (It was closed during winter months :() My wife and me we both were well rested and happy.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast! I was a little worried when I came in just a few minutes before the end, but it wasn't crowded and they still had some of everything.

They dont tell you that youhave to pay either $100 or $200 deposit depending on how you pay! Our room was on second floor the door had a huge gap in it that you could see in the hall and than the room beside of us had a family that decide their children could run wild in the room until 5:00 in the morning along with the parents screaming at them and their tv full blast all night. Complained to front dresk the responds was ill tell the boss.. like what?? I do understand that they have no control over the guest in their rooms, but they could have possibly had done something about that room. I definitely wont be staying there again!

Poor condition, poor service
From the first use, the toilet did not flush properly (water level rose almost to rim, and slowly drained out, but not completely). The front desk clerk told us she didn't have anyone who could look at it, and we should ask for a plunger when we returned after our evening out. We did, and plunged ourselves, only to have the toilet "run" all night. The next morning I walked up to the desk to check out. The clerk did not look up at all. I said, "hello, we're checking out." Without looking up, she told me to put the keys in the box on the counter. I then said that I wanted to follow up on the problem with our toilet and suggested she file a maintenance report because our plunging had not solved the problem. She sullenly told me that if the night clerk had reported it, she couldn't do anything else about it. I said I had no idea if it had been reported and that she could check on that so the next customer didn't have to deal with it as we had. She ignored me and didn't respond. Otherwise, the hotel is run down and the "breakfast" was lame.

I liked that my room had a jacuzzi tub but disliked how dirty parts of it were. Several tiles were missing grout or sealer, many grout lines were discolored. I ended up not using the tub. Lighting sucked. I got a suite, there’s one small overhead light by the door and dim lamps throughout the room. The desk area with chair would have been nice to have a mirror in front of it as I needed to pull the chair into the bathroom to put my makeup on. The long mirror in the room doesn’t have any lighting near it which makes checking out your outfit difficult. The tv was kind of small. The price was average maybe better than others by about $15/night. A huge plus for me was the Sheetz gas station across the street. Access to decent food within walking distance. I would have preferred that I received a final paper receipt for my check out after asking for it but I guess it will just show up in an email? Or cc statement which kind of sucks. The area around the property had stray cats that looked like they were being fed as there were paper plates on the ground up by the front door area. It made the property look shabby. Not enough disabled spaces on flat accessible areas near doors. The parking lot was packed each night, it was difficult to find parking, particularly disabled spaces.

First: Expedia did not give the property my pre-paid reservation information so it took an hour to check in while they worked it out with the front desk. Next: no elevator! Stairs to second floor were dangerous because the treads are tearing away from the steps and the hand rails are filthy. In the room: stains on doors and walls, dirty drips on walls in bathroom, wood molding tearing away from divider in closet, bathroom door would not fully close, paint chipping off, and bugs! Black beetles 😬. Air conditioner filthy and so noisy we couldn’t sleep with it on.

My only complaint is that check in is at 3pm, we got there at 5pm, and had to wait 30 mins extra before we got into our room because it wasnt ready. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. I do think there should have been a discount offered, but an apology was offered and accepted. All in all it is a nice place.

Shadow the cat was the best part
The hotel is unremarkable. It’s cheap, and you get what you paid for. I’ll say that at 830 pm the night of my reservation, a receptionist called to tell me they were over booked and my room wasn’t available anymore. I was on the highway in WV on my way to the hotel when he said this. When I asked what I was supposed to do, he suddenly found another room. The highlight of the hotel, however, is the cute black cat, Shadow, who has a little house outside the entrance. Shadow is why we are giving this hotel 4 stars.

Breakfast was terrible. There weren’t enough towels and they would not honor a request for more. There was not enough toilet paper, house cleaning put sheets on the bed that were very wrinkled and of questionable cleanliness. The hotel smelled terrible. The room smelled musty and smoky. The air conditioner vents were corroded with dust and dirt. It was very noisy. The eggs were watery. The sausage was greasy, and the waffle machine did not cook properly. The manager was short and curt whenever a request was made. After housekeeping came in to clean the room they did not replace any shampoo, conditioner, soap, or toilet paper. They left a very small half roll in the bathroom with no spare. We will not be staying again. children were running in the room above us for hours.

While the property is a cheaper option compared to alternatives, the rooms (particularly the bathrooms) could use a much-needed upgrade from the current condition. Everything was very rusted and stained, and there were several dead bugs in the ceiling light. The bedroom was average in comfort and condition, but the white comforter had a few obvious blood stains from previous guests that should have been noticed by staff.
