“Kia ora! We used this whare as a research retreat to do some writing and some deep thinking. The accommodations were lovely, clean, and tidy. An extra nice touch was a load of wood being dropped off at the whare if we needed it, and a 10% discount at the cafe, literally at the end of the driveway, was very convenient and a lovely touch of hospitality. Thank you, Emma, for looking after the crew. Highly recommend”

“Absolutely lovely place to stay, beautiful spot, very well kitted out cottage. The hosts are fantastic, going above and beyond, friendly and helpful, wonderful with our son showing him the animals and the farm. 100% recommended, thanks for having us, we will definitely come and stay again!!”

“Beautiful quiet secluded place. Lovely host. Lots of condiments etc that were available and natural products to purchase. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Accommodation also included a sauna (which unfortunately we did not have enough time to use). Please note that the shower was over the top of a shub and as I am quite short was a tad awkward to get out of, however there was a very sturdy handrail to hold onto to assist. I would stay there again for the peace and quiet.”

“Delightful, well-appointed and comfortable overnight accommodation at the beach. Easy access & comfortable beds in all rooms for a pleasant family stay. Nice main bathroom with walk in shower enclosure and double handbasins etc. Plenty of linen, towels, blankets, tea-towels etc. Kitchen and lounge upstairs with outside deck and wonderful views directly over the dune area to the sea were very comfortable, warm, and with every appliance necessary for an easy overnight stay and breakfast with the……
