Hotel very well situated. Very good amenities. Staff very friendly. I had to get my room changed as the first room had a terrible smell coming from shower room. Second room excellent.

Pros: lovation ,very nice staff
Cons: the hotel allowed reservations without pre-notice about renovations
Location: few minuts walk to madame tussauds,2 minute walk to regent park ,15 minute walk to oxford st nice area
location is very good staff is super nice,room is nice only we had a repeating problem with the sink and hotel couldnt amend hotel was under renovations but without a notice during reservation...

Marathon weekend

Good hotel with a wonderful staff and bar. The only thing that needs updating is the lighting in the bathroom which is not bright enough and the iron and ironing board which is from the 60's.

Clean comfy hotel in a central location

Very nice hotel, great staff! Clean and value for money, nice breakfast and easy check-in/out. Only discomfort was the pull out sofabed in the family room. My boys slept on it complaining about the base (and boys rarely complain about this sorr of stuff) I tried myself and the first half was rock hard, you could feel the joint under your back. Other than that, we were very pleased and impressed.

Bfast Beware

Disappointed with breakfast, found hair on my plate and could not eat breakfast anymore in the hotel. Manager came and just said had no idea how it got there. Paid for upgrade, but person at restaurant insisted I needed to sign for payment, system has issue. The mushroom served were salty, had to contend with frequent visits to toilet. Book the room, but think again about breakfast,

Decent location, but 0 soundproofing

The hotel is ok overall. It is noisy, there is absolutely no soundproofing in it - you will hear all you neighbors go to the bathroom or turn on the faucets. You will hear trash being dumped all night on the street due to poor quality windows. The mildew smell of the dirty carpets everywhere doesn’t really go along with a semi- modern image of the hotel. It’s kind of you get what you pay for. I will look for a better option next time simply due to constantly disturbed sleep because of all the noise. Btw, take Uber to airport- you will pay half the price of their pre-arranged “fixed price” shuttle.

Centrally located gem

My stay at the Amelia White House Hotel was just plain delightful; the food was delicious and plentiful and the staff very friendly and helpful in every way from assisting you with how to get around London be it by Bus, Taxi Cab or the Underground to always responding immediately to any reasonable request made. The only complaint I have though was the sleeping accommodation; because there were three guests in our group we requested a room with a pullout sofa which we got, but the pullout was so hard and uncomfortable it made sleeping difficult. I guess had more bedding used it would have made a difference. Otherwise it was a very pleasant and memorable stay.

Surprisingly luxurious for its price

We stayed here for 6 nights and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Great service, nice and friendly staff, and the hotel was luxurious. We would definitely stay here again as our first choice!

Great location.

If you will be using London's tube system or need to get Europe via AeroStar then this is your best option. The Great Portland St tube station is about 100 yards away and is 2 shorts stops from St. Pancreas and Kings Cross Stations. The hotel is beautiful and clean with a very nice and helpful staff. We stayed in London, Edinburgh, and Dublin and this was by far the best hotel we picked. Cheers to Melia White!!!
