Love staying at this hotel. The staff members are so helpful and friendly. Dave was amazing when we checked in, providing all of the breakfast information and just pleasant to visit with. Breakfast is always hot with many choices. Pool area is always clean with fresh towels available. Have stayed here multiple times and will continue to make this my Clear Lake stay on future trips.

Older hotel that has not had the proper maintenance, room looked like nothing had been repaired since it was new. Tears in the carpet, scuffs in the furniture and on the walls, but everything did work. Bedding was clean but linty.

The staff were all very pleasant and looked like they enjoyed their work. Lots of options for breakfast. I was impressed by how big the hot tub is and the temperature was perfect. I definitely would stay again.

Upon checking in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were great. We loved that there was adult swim after 10 pm. Breakfast had a great variety offered. The only con was our room had a strange odor to it. Overall we had a great night staying there.

Whenever we are in the Clear Lake area, we like to stay here. We are always out on the go, so this is a nice clean place to lay your head. Rooms and beds are always cleans with the beds being comfortable. We haven't tried any of the amenities because like I said we are always on the go whey we're here. It is a nice place at a very reasonable rate.

Great stop on our way back from Phoenix with a stop off in Decorah for grandsons swim meet. Clean comfortable and well priced. Very welcoming staff to us and our Great Pyrenees pup. Thanks for a great stop on the way

Not what I expected
The staff was very friendly, the room was not what I was expecting. From the semen stains on the bedding to the feces splattered on the doorway to the bathroom. I will think twice before staying in a snow storm. I would rather take my chances on the road.

I do want to address, that we are under room renovations, where we are scraping the popcorn off the ceilings, painting and refurnishing our door frames. I do apologize for the plaster being on the bed skirt, as this was needed to be caught by house keeping for when the room was turned over for cleaning, also the door frames, have a lot of rust with the moisture coming from the bathroom. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I will be going over this with my staff as we do not want this as a reoccurrence.

Place with a pool and a 2-bedroom suite
Stayed here twice on a family trip. The staff was very nice, the room was quieter than in most hotels (despite being close to the pool), and we liked the 2-bedroom suite so that our young child could be on the fold-away bed and the grown-ups could be in our own room. The pool and hot tub were great for family fun. Breakfast was standard fare but nice, with both a waffle maker and pancake maker. We have also stayed in the Microtel in Clear Lakes, which is also nice, but having the 2 rooms and the pool was better for us.
