Great hotel pool and hot tub were lots of fun with our grandkids. Only complaint we had was the breakfast was not great. Only hot food option was waffles or sausage gravy.
Nice suburban hotel . Close to some major shopping . Only thing was the WiFi did not connect in room all night . I listen to a series all night to sleep luckily had some downloads but disappointed in no connection.
Breakfast as t took was large clean and bright .
Easy to get to and plenty of things around the area

It's ok
Cons: The lobby & common areas are pretty dark. The breakfast is slim, to none. There was dark black hair all over the bathroom floor when we checked in. Therte is only an Ice matching on the main level.
Pros: The A/C worked great, the beds were pretty comfy. I have stayed in better hotels in Mason City, but for the price, it did the job.

My lights by my night stands didn’t work and my TV channels were all scrambled! This was not a cheap place to stay! I paid for much better and I didn’t get it. I won’t go back
Good hotel and convenient location to the Mason City Event Center. Know they only have room cleaning every 3 days. Good coffee and convenient, if simple, breakfast.
When we checked in, our room had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk and the attendant apologized and immediately took care of the issue by giving us another room that was slightly larger. It happened because of a miscommunication with the morning staff. Great job for handling it professionally.
Breakfast in morning was pretty sparce: waffles, cereal, toast, sugary yogurt and an unusually small pot of sausage gravy. Basically sugar and junk. The had some packaged hard boiled eggs but nothing appealing if you want to eat a bit better.
Room was very clean, great lighting and comfortable. Staff was great. Would stay here again if we are in the area but would plan to eat somewhere else.

The room smelled extremely musty and damp. The smell was bad and very strong. I tried turning the AC fan on higher and cooler in hopes it would go away. It did not. It made the room feel uncomfortable and our stay unpleasant. The sheets and bedding felt damp from the room being damp and made it hard to sleep. The staff were nice and welcoming at check in.

Clean and comfortable however breakfast definitely left a lot to be desired. Very small portions and very limited offerings.

Room was out dated, old light switches, bathroom door was hard to close, the roll of toilet paper was almost empty when we entered the room, the floor felt damp, found a gummy of some kind on the floor next to the bed, no tv channel guide.
This was a huge disappointment on the facility the room and the breakfast.. For what I paid the room was very smal and not what I booked. The breakfast had no hot water for tea no fruit cereal in machine was stale and only hot item was some gummy gravy and a make it yourself waffle Noise outside (and above) room was very loud The staff was so amazing though very great

I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay at our facility. I do show that we had you in a room with 2 queen sized beds, which is the room type that you booked. Unfortunately, all of our rooms with 2 queen beds are the same size.
We do have constant hot water available in a filtered machine in our breakfast area. This is available 24 hours. If you ever need any assistance, please contact the front desk and we would be happy to help.

Overall it was very good but the bedding and pillows had a lot to be desired. Sorry but the comforter was all lumpy, and the pillows were like sleeping with nothing at all. The bed was way to hard for my wife but I guess that would not be their fault. It could use pillow topper or something to make it a bit softer. She deals with a lot of pain. Very friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights and met our family from Delaware there and they let us play games in the breakfast area. we appreciated the large table to do that. Coffee all day was very nice. We also appreciated the chair in the room to sit in although it could of been cleaner. But all and all it was very good!!! we were woken up every night VERY early by the sound of running water from upstairs or next door. I would think it would be better insulated than that.
Excellent stay. Check in, check out, cleanliness, proximity to gas stations and restaurants were all excellent. Next time in Mason City, this is our first choice of a hotel. Very pleased with everything
