ome to Nerano and stay in Casale VillarenaPosted Nov 12, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is very beautiful. The environment is breath taking. The way that the crew took care of us was out standing. The food was priceless, but above all the owner Wilyamo (hope that i spell it right ) was one of a kind. Do your self a favor come to Nerano and stay in Casale Villarena I can promise you will not regret doing this. We definitely intend to come back.

Very nice hotel and so accommodating staff membersPosted Sep 11, 2016
Accommodating staff members like Guillermo and Mariateresa and nice waiter Antonio! The beautiful beach is downhill but staff members were so ready for pick up. A special thank to Guillermo for doing that for me. Food was superb! Kudos to the chef!!! I will highly recommend this place to my friends back in the USA!

Nice quiet getawayPosted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels
If you want a quiet place in the countryside this is a great choice. The facilities aren't too fancy and the wifi doesn't work too well in the rooms however I recommend this place if you want some rest and relaxation kind of vacation. Take a good book and relax. Service was great too

Pros: Everything, room, food, ....
This place is really amazing, the lemon trees, views and atmosphere makes it unique. Super kids and family friendly. The food, incredible delicious and the staff (specially the owner Guillermo) very very nice and helpful. We wish and plan to can go back soon.

Quiet Coast stayPosted Oct 1, 2014 on Hotels
This hotel is a very quaint and cozy hotel if you want to take time away and enjoy the scenic hotel and it's restaurant. Guillermo our host and his staff were excellent communicators and shared vast information about the area and property which is historical itself. The weather for our visit was just OK but we would love to revisit Caslae Villarena. The breakfast is very good but the restaurant is outstanding. The hotel is off the beaten path which provides challenges to find it but once you have it's a great place to unwind. As always in Italy the beds are the complaint but the only flaw from our visit and still the bed was better than average.

A fine place with even finer hosts!Posted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
We've spent 3 nights at the Casale Villarena, end of April. The Casale is a great place, an old building full of history offering great point of views on the sea. The rooms are simple, and some little things are missing for a perfect comfort (not very good mattress on the bed, lacking places to hang towels in the bathroom for instance; but everything was very clean). Also we didn't realize that at the end of the afternoon this part of the mountain is in the shadows, so do not hope for a sunny aperitivo and do not get back early at the hotel hoping for this! The food is great, even if it is a little bit expensive (the cost for 2 meals was roughly the same as for the room). But you quickly forget all of this with the kindness of the hosts. They are a great help for your excursions, and a great smile making you feel like you're home. Mariateresa and Guglielmo - Best hosts ever!

Frische regionale italienische Küche in Top-QualitätPosted May 26, 2010
