Everything was ok, just one big minus - you have to pay for parking (40 pln for night). It is not included in the room price. There are a lot of activities for the children, the water-pool is working from 8:00 till 21:00 and it’s not very crowded.

Don't get fooled by the look of the hotel
4 stars are only for a fun activity. Reception is a careless and unkind. We had to wait over one hour for check in even though we get email check in is for 3pm we got room after 4 Rooms are very old worn not so comfy to stay in. Food just ok, bread not fresh, not to many options Don't get fooled by the look of the hotel Overall didn't feel welcome

Quite stay with nice view
We appreciated staying at this hotel during our trip in Poland. The staff was ferkelnd, spoke good English and helped us get around. The breakfast is big and there were extremely many people and it was overcrowded. The rooms are spacious and clean. No elevator to the floor which was a bit annoying.

Obecnie trwa remont hotelu . Mimo 4ch gwiazdek jeszcze trochę brakuje do pełnej satysfakcji. Problemy ze szlafrokami ( rozmiary ), stare ręczniki kąpielowe.

An easy stay
Stayed in 4 nights, the hotel is looking a little dated decor wise but every thing worked and the staff are very nice. Our bed was super comfortable one of the nicest I've slept in for awhile although the mattress protector had a plastic backing which tended to make my wife and I sweat a little so that could maybe be improved. The small bathroom had good shower pressure and consistent temperature. The hallway to our room was a bit musty smelling.. The restaurant food is just Ok nothing standout the Buffett we had one night really was the best option, breakfast was ok but I'd have really liked some bacon. Parking is secure, there is an excellent gym and swimming pool. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for a business trip. The hotel is located in a perfect location but the condition of bathrooms, balconies and cleaning need attention. The ceiling is broken in lobby and walk ways. The food quality is bad, the fins of fish were on the skin. The staff is not friendly at all. Rooms are very small.

Mercure great potential if modernised/refurbished
Definitely not a 4 star hotel, the staff very friendly and kind, however our room needs to be refurbished, carpet heavily stained, tiles on the wall old and need replacement, duvet cover washed out. Air conditioning very much needed, patio needs to be refurbished. During our stay regularly smoke fumes coming from the patio. The reception staff very polite and helpful, also the gentleman working at the bar where the pools and bowling- lovely and kind. Good facilities: bowling 1PLN/1minute, pools-0,50PLN/1minute, very expensive car park 34PLN per day(£7!)got a negotiated discount to 20PLN. Great swimming pool, and excellent areas for kuds. The Hotel placed in a great area, near to the lake, cycle path, number of caffes, also amphitheater.

Very good hotel if exploring the Lake district. Very good restaurant and staff are very helpful. Some very nice walks along the lakefront close by.

Misleading...Four Stars? Hardly.
Front desk staff were nice. The room was to put it mildly; stains too numerous to count on the carpet. Grout of shower and bathroom was nearly black. This is by NO means a four start hotel by any measurement, any where in the world.

Recreational activity galore
Great hotel bursting with recreational activities (pool, bowling, mini golf, water slides) and on the shore of a beautiful lake with pedalos and other water sports. Food and drink all very cheap and hotel generally clan and well looked after.

Always a pleasure
I've been going to this hotel with my family for over 20 years, and I always come back with pleasure. The multitude of facilities offered by the hotel, the closeness to the lake and other attractions within close range mean there is always lots to do, but it's also wonderful to relax, enjoy the spa and be lazy at the lakeside. My only remark is that the hotel look is a bit dated. Other thing - since it's an extremely family friendly hotel, you better be used to the presence of lots of children.

We booked a standard room and were most disappointed to find ourselves in a room without A/C and torn mosquito net in the window, allowing flies to come in. We paid the extra to upgrade and were able to experience a true 4 star experience

Good hotel for area
Hotel was good choice for us. It was close enough to town (about 1.5km) and to Wolf''s Lair (about 30 mins) which we went to see. Rooms were very comfortable. There was no air-conditioning but we have found this at other hotels in the north. The breakfast buffet was the best we had on our entire trip. Staff were a somewhat helpful but there was a language problem. Our only complaint was that they charged 34 zloty a day for parking which is a lot considering this is a remote area.

Better on the Inside Than on the Outside
The Hotel has the look of a Communist era sanitorium and indeed may have been just that. Arrival was complicated by a security guard and a barrier to the car park. She was clearly not expecting us and spoke no English. We eventually were allowed in but this was a service we had booked beforehand and had paid for. Not a good first impression. It is modern inside but incredibly dark. The corrridors are frankly unpleasant to walk along. Our room was comfortable and had the benefit of a balcony and windows on two sides but it was on a floor inaccesible by lift and with heavy suitcases after a long car journey this was not welcome. Our main concern was the restaurant. We were told by reception the times the dining room would be open but when we arrived for a meal it was clear we were neither expected nor welcome and we were kept waiting for some some time before being shown to a table. We then waited some time again before a waiter offered us a buffet being provided for a tour group already in the room. It was clear that any attempt to order anything else would have been unwelcome. Little English was spoken in the hotel and there were no English language programmes available on the T.V.

This hotel is perfect for families - the pool and family facilities are excellent. I spent two weeks travelling around Poland with my friend - looking to see the sights, sounds and tastes of poland. The hotel is set in the heart of the polish lake district and nearby Wolds Lair - hitlers war time bunker base in the forest. Although you wouldn't know any of this from either the hotel. There are no tours, not information and the staff were totally unhelpful (and for a 4 star hotel) spoke little English. They couldn't even provide information on local transport. The hotel felt like a mini center parc and they clearly weren't interested in anything outside that. A real shame, because everything else about the place was lovely.

Die Damen, die Termine für den Spa vergeben haben, sprachen kein Englisch. Termine wurden doppelt vergeben. Von den jeweils vier Duschen bei den Umkleidekabinen funktionierte nur jeweils eine Dusche. Am Whirlpool (Aussenbereich) wuchs viel Unkraut zwischen den Wegplatten. Für uns war das alles nicht so schlimm, doch konnte man sehen, dass dieses Hotel (bis auf den Empfangsbereich), in die Jahre gekommen war.

Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa, w hotelu czysto, blisko jeziora. Hotel ma czasy świetności za sobą chociaż jego część została wyremontowana. Powiedział bym że to mocne 3 gwiazdki nie 4, ale dobra lokalizacja i przemiła obsługa pozytywnie wpływają na pobyt, polecam hotel szczególnie rodzinom z dziećmi.
