On an ordinary day, this is a lovely place to stay. Nice amenities, convenient to locations, good beach view. However, my new bride and I booked to honeymoon here, but were told the night before we arrived that the A/C went out and there was no ETA on replacement. It was no one's fault, but the policy banned leaving windows open to keep the place cool, and in the Hawaiian sun, temps got up to 80+ degrees during the day. It made for some warm nights, no return trips for afternoon naps or lunches at the condo, and an overall diminished experience. Management only offered an 8% refund, which was a nice gesture, but not enough to make an unexpectedly sweaty and uncomfortable honeymoon right. I wrote to management to explain, and they were politely firm
On an ordinary day I'd recommend the place, but to be honest, there are nicer places at the same price point, and at this point I'd be willing to hedge my bets that they'd square things away better than Sugar Beach.
