Cons: Keep the air conditioners on in the rooms to keep the musky odor under control.
Location was great. However, room had an odor that would not go away. Resort grounds not kept up.

So good...and yetPosted Jul 30, 2015
We loved our vacation and Aina Nalu is perfect in so many ways... The condo was the right size for our family, the pools and grounds were fabulous, walking distance to everything. The drawback was that our kitchen had cockroaches crawling on the counters every morning and during our stay the ceiling leaked. Aina Nalu is a gem, I hope they invest just a little more to bring these areas up to speed.

Wonderful setting and close to Front StreetPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: The amenities on the property were terrific - we especially enjoyed the salt water pool and grounds.
Location: Shopping at Lahaina Outlets; Front Street; sightseeing at the park at the harbour; short drive to parks along the highway; groceries nearby
The hotel staff and management provided outstanding guest service in fixing a small maintenance issue that we encountered on check in. Many thanks to Diana for resolving this and making our stay on Maui an excellent one. We will definitely stay at Outrigger again on our next visit.

Security, parking ridiculous, fee'sPosted Jul 6, 2015
I booked on Expedia & it said $95 cleaning fee for both rooms. At check out 1 of my rooms cost me $185. Outrageous. & security just opened our hotel room door for a complete stranger thinking that person belonged to our room when they didn't. Bad experience & never staying at Aina Nalu again!

Great place in Lahaina.Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Big, clean rooms with a great concierge service included.
Location: The Aina Luna is perfectly located to explore all of Lahaina with a nice place to rest afterwards.
A nice quiet place to stay just outside of the tourist path. Felt right at home with a very comfortable layout of the room.

Great location, close to Front Street.Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location, gardens and pools
Cons: Reduce the cost of parking and more guests would use it. The car park was virtually empty most of the time. A friendlier receptionist.
Location: Loved the yummy cheap food vans down the road serving beautiful fresh local food. The snorkelling and beaches are fabulous, Lahaina is a great base.
Parking is an issue,[particularly the excessive costs charged by the resort to park within the boundary of the resort The car park was mostly empty. The resort would be better off reducing the daily parking fee and then guests would probably use the car parks. The cost is excessive so parking on the road was necessary, but necessitated guests to have to walk from their car to their unit. The staff at reception were grumpy and not helpful. The security guard was pedantic and at times unrealistic, we were told we could not hang out towels sued at the pool over the railings at the unit, so were forced to have to dry everything in the dryer in the room, this made the room hot and I'm sure pushed up the electrical bill for the resort. Seems ridiculous when advised the towels on railings and balconies was banned because it looked ugly!!! Wearing wrist bands while in the pool area was annoying and frankly there were locals in the pool swimming all the time that were not requested to leave. Overall, so long as you are aware of the ridiculous additional cost of a room cleaning fee and the excessive car parking costs at the resort prior to booking you would not be disappointed staying there. The resort is nice and gardens lovely, the resort is well kept and the location is great, and if you can overlook the grumpy receptionist and vigilant security patrols, you will love staying at this resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay!!!!
