"Pleasant stay in Kaanapali"
The hotel grounds are beautiful and the location is great. Enjoyed the pool areas, which are not as jammed packed as the neighboring hotels. Really enjoyed being able to use the pool area of the Hyatt Residence as it was quiet and relaxing. The room is a bit dated and needs to be renovated. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and the bathrooms were small. The hotel employees were very friendly and hospitable. For the price we received, would definitely stay here again.

"Nice Hotel, Expedia lied"
Hotel was very nice, but Expedia selling it as an 'island view' room and showing a photo of the island of Lanai across the water was very mis-leading! This led us to believe we'd have a view of the island...but no, it was a view of the golf course. Not a terrible view, but not the water view that was inferred from the photo! Because it was booked through Expedia, the hotel would not do anything to upgrade or change the room. Beware of Expedia over-promising!

"So pleasantly surprised!"
We just got back from 4 nights in Maui and spent 2 of the nights at the MCH. We were expecting sort of a Super 8, honestly, as it was by far one of the cheaper options on the island. We were so pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived! They upgraded our room to a "partial view", higher level king upon arrival, simply because we didn't fuss about waiting 5 minutes for our room to be ready. It was a great room--nice clean bedding (with the white duvet covers, so you know that they have to be freshly laundered after each guest. :-) I also really loved the full sized bottles of shampoo/cond/body wash in the shower--the mini bottles are such a waste! You can also check out cruisers to go peddle around on from the front desk--it's in a really great location to do so. All in all, Terry and the rest of the gang at the MCH were amazing--highly recommend!

"Chic hotel for a different kind of Maui experience"
I primarily selected this hotel for proximity to a good beach, great pool amenities, and because it looked a little further away from the"tourist/family" hotels that are very popular. This was one of the nicest hotels I've been to in my life. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 4th anniversary and this was our first time in Hawaii, and with limited vacations this year, I wanted to "do it right" and make memories. With all of the amazing things you can do on the island, it was hard to leave! NOT CHEAP, but if you are looking to spoil yourself... WOW! Worth every penny in my opinion to not be part of the "disneyland masses" so to speak. I wish I was there right now!

"Fantastic experience!"
It was our first time to Maui and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed before venturing out and made sure we knew where we were going. The resort was very clean.
