Great view of the ocean from our room, easy access to Napili Beach and within walking distance to Kapalua Beach. Great snorkeling! Property did not was quiet and did not seem busy. Property and room was very clean. Front desk could use a little bit more Aloha.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a luxurious resort in Maui, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Tye surrounding area was beautifully landscaped with exotic trees and greenery. Room was nice, with a spacious kitchen. The AC temp was set at min 74 and could not be decreased! Tiny roaches coming out of the bathroom closet after lights out

We love the location of the property and the Beautiful grounds. Being right on the water, had easy and amazing views of the ocean, the whales, and sunsets. Easy to get to nearby grocery stores and cafes. Very comfortable for two in our one bedroom unit with everything we needed in the kitchen for preparing simple meals. Mostly quiet at all times of day and night but rooms on the parking lot can have disturbances, which we experienced during our stay. Also, hard to have a very dark room for sleeping because of lighted walkways. If you have the windows open to allow a breeze, then you can't close the shutters to make it more dark. Perhaps my only complaint. Both on-site restaurants have good and tasty offerings. Definitely do take out from the Gazebo instead of waiting in line! would stay here again.

The property was really nice and well maintained. We had a room with a kitchen which was very nice. Full kitchen and fully stocked. Our issue was the walls were very thin between the rooms. We could hear their alarm go off in the morning, one morning they chatted with someone on speaker phone and we could hear everything the person on speaker was saying. We also had ants in our room which was warned about, and they did come spray but we ended up taping the grout where they were coming in so the counter was covered in them.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this property. This was our first time on Maui and when we come back will definitely stay at Napili Shores. This area is quiet with amazing ocean front views. The restaurant on-site serves amazing breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. If crowds, high rise resorts and shopping are your thing, this isn’t your place (although you can find those things fairly close). If quiet and relaxing is more your speed, then definitely consider Napili Shores.

The resort itself was good, but we were assigned a room next to a room undergoing renovations at right hand side with contractor started to work loudly at 8am, and with a neighbour room at left hand side having a baby started crying at 6am every morning during our stay. We tried to ask front desk to switch a room but they always found reasons not to do it....so we ended up with suffering of bad sleeping quality for all 3 nights. Will definitely not coming back to the resort with poor quality of service!

My 1 week stay was perfect, the hotel exceeded all expectations. The room was awesome with a front view to the ocean, complete kitchen fully equipped with appliances and utensils. Location is perfect, in one of the best beaches at Maui, grocery stories nearby, the hotel is very well taken care, nice staff. I strongly recommend this hotel if you go to Maui for both, family trip or couples.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was surprisingly pest-free, save for a few fruit flies, which was impressive considering the location. The furniture, though a bit older, was clean and well-maintained. Beach was a few steps away too! With a shop to rent beach/snorkeling equipment right next to the main building. The peaceful atmosphere was a plus, with enforced quiet hours from 10pm to 8am and no noisy children around. The only minor issue was the unconventional operating hours. At one point, we were unable to get beach towels, and on our arrival at 5pm, the main desk attendant had already left, though check-in starts at 3pm. We received a temporary door code and had to complete our official check-in the next day. The timing was slightly inconvenient, but overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Loved our stay!
We were only here a few nights but really enjoyed our stay! Clean, comfy and quiet (minus the roosters). Pool was heated, hot tub was great! And best of all, it’s next to a great beach! It’s kinda rocky right by the resort but easy access to the sand just about 30 feet away. We stayed in Kihei the other half of our trip and the facility was nicer there, but I actually liked this place better.

We didn't like that they had roaches. We still haven't unpacked all of our luggage yet because we are terrified some came along with us from Napili Shores. I saw one in the bathroom. My husband saw one crawl out if our bag at the airport.

The stay and location was perfect for our honeymoon! Others have commented that the units seem outdated but that was not our experience. Everyone on the property, both staff and guests were very kind. We definitely will stay here again next year with our daughters! Thanks for such a memorable stay!

We came here on our honeymoon 40 years ago and went back to celebrate our 40 anniversary. Glad we did! The location is within an easy walk of Napili Beach, the Gazebo Restaurant is still amazing, and the addition of Kitchen 5315 and a dive shop on property are extra perks.

Very loud. Not a good place to stay unless you’re traveling with children. The small beach was beautiful, but so crowded we never even went to it. We ended up traveling off property to beaches every day. Which defeated the purpose of why we chose to stay there. The room was very clean, no issues on cleanliness at all. Overall though….I would not recommend this place.

I’m giving it 2 star overall just because the view was amazing. The first thing we noticed as soon as we walked in the room was the smell. It was the smell of old furniture with roaches….disgusting. Then the sink let out a horrible smell. Third, as soon as you turn the lights on all the roaches would run and try to hide. It was so bad my husband killed 10 at one time. Everything needs to be updated. From the bed to the furniture. Other thing was they wouldn’t let you turn down the AC. It was looked at 74 too hot for us. The area is good, family atmosphere. Good size beach and the food at the Gazebo was worth the long wait in line. Other then that I don’t recommend unless you like roaches.

I loved how close it was to Napili beach, which is a great snorkeling spot. I read a lot of reviews that mentioned this hotel was outdated and I do not agree. Their kitchen was surprising spacious and up to date. We had a garden view room in front of a large grassy area (great for play). Keep in mind that they don't have house keeping during your stay but they provided us with enough toilet paper, trash bags and towels for 4-5 days. I wish they had late check out because we had a late plane ride home.

I will definitely come back to this location. It is quiet, beautiful view and literally next to Napili Bay...you could easily walk there. It is also walking or short drive to Kapalua Bay. The grounds are beautiful and the front desk staff were very friendly.
