Gardens at West Maui

Posted Jul 11, 2016
I liked this condo. It was clean with a beautiful pool. It is really close to Kapalua and Napili Beach. The only downside is the roosters crow all day.

Fully equipped amenities, perfect for families

Posted Jun 17, 2016
Pros: The grounds are beautiful and well kept. They had different activies, such as lei making. The chickens and roosters roamed the grounds freely.
Cons: The staff isn't always available.
Location: Close to beaches and the blowhole.
The hotel/apartment was fully equipped with a washer and dryer and full kitchen. This made it really convenient for my family. I could wash clothing and towels after a day at the beach and not pack wet sandy clothes back in the suitcases. Also we could have breakfast and snacks in the kitchen and not always have to find a restaurant.

OK but not surrounded by nice garden

Posted Mar 5, 2016 on Hotels

Very Dissatisfied

Posted Mar 1, 2016
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything = you need to be more upfront about lack of amenities and need for car. very upset by whole experience
Location: nothing without a car
there was no direct access to beach. had to cross over other hotels property which the gate to get onto this site was closed and locked. no food (even a vending machine) available. was not made aware I would require a car to stay here in order to get to food or anything for that matter. very disappointed - felt this site was terribly misrepresented on your website. left after second night - noise from rooster farm next door was ridiculous. looked out on parking lot from living room and a wall out bedroom. daughter got violently ill due to paint fumes from them painting (and talking loudly) our bedroom window.

Aloha, Jo-Anne. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations and disappointed you cut short your stay. We also extend our sincere apologies if the paint fumes led to your daughter's illness.

Pros: The location to the beach and the pool. Please note it's not really a hotel
Cons: The air conditioning units are incredibly loud and make it hard to sleep at night. The roosters are loud too but the AC sound was worse.
Location: Near multiple beautiful beaches and you can do any beach thing you like to do. Close to Lahaina and close to bus route if you don't have a car.
Pros: Location: the Gardens are very close to three beautiful beaches (imminently walkable) and not far from several others also beautiful. You can swim, snorkel and surf very easily or just contemplate the beauty. You are about a mile away from a grocery store Amenities: There is air conditioning, and a kitchen that is simple but had everything I needed and I like to cook. There is a microwave as well as stove, large fridge, oven and tools for cooking. The resort has a gorgeous pool (some thought the water was too cold but I didn't mind it) and 1-2x a week they have classes to learn how to make leis, etc. There are beach chairs to borrow as well and a barbecue you can use. Community: this resort is mostly time share units so there is a mix of people vacationing and time share owners. The owners I met were so friendly and interesting without being intrusive. It really added to the experience and they shared tips on where to go and what to do. Staff: friendly and helpful. Cons: The unit I was in (on the ground floor) smelled moldy throughout the time I was there. Although I'm sure it was clean, it didn't feel clean because of the moldy smell and the shabbiness of the furniture. this made it uncomfortable to be in the living room and I spent most of my time out on the patio. The internet/wifi is iffy and you will not get much help with any problems. The tv connection was also iffy. Price: The price I paid was high even by overall Hawaii standards. Noise: Very loud at night

Quiet and close to beaches

Posted Feb 18, 2016
Pros: Liked the location. Walking distance to 2 beaches. Quiet area except for the roosters which you could hardly hear them inside the room.
Cons: Our air conditioner ran constantly which was quiet noisy for sleeping.
Location: Close to Lahaina to eat out and where most of the activities are located. Grocery store and Farmers Market nearby in Napili.
We would definitely stay there again. We especially liked the location walking distance to 2 beaches. It was also a quiet area except for the roosters. Nice pool area even though the pool is not heated. Nice comfy king size bed in unit 102 with 2 large flat screen TV's. Even had maid service in the middle of the week.

Nice hotel with all amenities

Posted Feb 15, 2016
Pros: Comfortable and have all amenities.
Cons: Softer bed and some places have stains like light switch, tub, and wall near bathroom.
Location: Walk to beach, golf course, restaurants, gift shops, etc.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's like home with all amenities within. It's close to everything so we can walk to the beach or restaurants or golf course. Not to far to drive to malls, gift shops, markets, attractions, etc. Cliffs nearby and beaches nearby are very scenic and conveniently close by. We can just stay in West Maui and can do lots of things. Big box stores and OGG airport was within 1 hour drive.
