Long Beach resorts

The staff provide excellent service, very courteous and friendly.. In general this is a very good and nice place stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place.. On a side note the Internet has to be better

Disappointed!

Free green fee, but the golf course was not at the resort! Check in receptionist was excellent. Breakfast was good. Water sports staff was rude, if you wanted anything(snorkel gear/life jacket/kayak, etc) from them, they would pull a long face, then talk in their own language. We booked room only, went to the "Tides" for early dinner, was turn down, said the restaurant was fully booked, there was only a few tables was seated, next day we saw friends who we met at the resort, they had dinner there, said it was half empty all night. The resort is big, takes a long time to walk from one place to another, only one towel booth available, so if you want to do water sports or lay by the beach, you must get your towels first by the main pool. The room is exactly same as the photo, the hardware is 3 stars hotel, the service was not up to standard. I would not choose this resort again, we stayed in the Hilton on west side of the island, service was excellent & professional thru out our stay.

Great place to relax and unwind

Really enjoyed our stay at Long Beach. Great room, food, drinks and facilities. The housekeeping and waiting staff were brilliant. Front desk not as friendly or helpful but that was a minor point. As a football fan having Supersport meant I could watch the big English Premier League matches which was a nice bonus. One negative is the booking system for the restaurants. If you're queuing at 8am you're unlikely to be able to get a booking. It's not good and needs to be looked at. We managed to get booked for two nights but had to settle for the buffet the rest of the week. It's really good so not too bad a consolation prize!

Bella struttura fronte mare.

Bella la struttura, bella la camera. Unico neo il personale della reception. Piu' di una volta ci hanno fornito indicazioni divergenti. Altro neo l'organizzazione. Per due sere al buffet ci hanno detto di ritornare piu' tardi perché non c'era posto, cosa assurda per un hotel a cinque stelle.Inoltre per le pronotazioni agli altri ristoranti presenti bisogna ogni volta discutere. Eccezionale il ristorante giapponese.Ho avuto un problema con la sacca da golf, depositata presso il Golf Ile aux Cerfs, convenzionato con l'albergo,e trattasi di uno dei golf piu' rinomati al mondo ,danneggiata dai topi, che alla fine si e' risolto con l'acquisto da parte mia di una nuova sacca, danno tutto a carico mio.Non ho avuto il piacere di incontrare né il responsabile del Circolo del Golf né il direttore dell'albergo. Nel complesso una bella struttura dove manca la presenza del responsabile dell'albergo che, ogni tanto, dovrebbe farsi trovare e vedere, soprattutto se vengono evidenziati dei problemi.

Dès notre arrivée UN PROBLEME

Pros: La piscine, le nombre très satisfaisant des transats, la plage, le lagon, la gentillesse du personnel, le restaurant SAPORI.
Cons: La qualité des restaurants fruits de mer et chinois. Pas toujours au niveau attendu. Bon sans plus. Pas de navette aéroport ??
Location: Golf ensuite il faut prendre un taxi ou louer une voiture pour visiter l'île. Activités intéressantes: paddle, masque, plongée, parachute, golf etc ..
La chambre que nous avions réservé et payé intégralement avec Expédia avec vue mer, n'est pas du tout cela. Au contraire on nous donne une chambre vue jardin en me faisant croire lors de ma contestation que "oui en effet on vous a surclassé". J'insiste en exigeant une chambre avec vue mer, bref ce pourquoi j'avais payé. En précisant qu'il était tout à fait désagréable d'être considéré dans ces conditions pour un 5 étoiles ????. En insistant j'obtiens que l'on nous propose une autre chambre, et là, incroyable on nous propose pire. Aucune vue mer et lits jumeaux !!!!! je demande si on se moque de nous. Nous devons conserver la chambre initiale en attendant une solution. Néanmoins nous perdons donc l'après midi sans pouvoir s'installer puisqu'on devait nous déménager le lendemain. Le jour suivant, nous attendons jusqu'à 12h30 . Rien aucune réponse. Je décide de me rendre à la réception. Je suis assez remonté. Là on me dit on vous a trouvé une chambre la 505 vue mer. Nous nous y rendons et enfin nous avons la chambre que nous avions choisi. Il n'en demeure pas moins que nous avons perdu un après midi et une matinée soit au final une journée complète !!!!! Je trouve cela inadmissible compte tenu de la classe de l'hotel soit 5 étoiles et surtout d'avoir réservé et payé 5 mois avant cette chambre.
