Keep expectations low

As a frequent user of Hotels.com, I in general value being a customer. I however had a very bad experience with Oceanic Villa Mauritius, where I stayed yesterday
The A/C and TV was not working in my room (superior). As a result I moved to another room, which was smaller. The sink, internet and TV in the new room was however not working.
The hotel furthermore has a general hygiene problem. It was dirty and full of insects. Note I was not expecting anything more than basic accommodation given the price....still hotel was in a miserable condition.
