We stay here every time we are in Mazatlan. However, this time checking was a hassle. Our room was not ready at checkin time. We didn't get into our room until 440pm. Also, I paid cash for the room and when I asked for a receipt, was told I would get it when received my room key. When I asked for the receipt again, they acted like I didn't pay. Finally after mass confusion, I was given a receipt. I use my card to reserve the room, but I always pay in cash because I don't use my credit card abroad. The girls at the front desk I think are not customer friendly. You walk up to the front desk and the ignore you. The rest of the hotel staff, waiters, bell boys, maids are all friendly and helpful.

Not to impressed

Posted Jun 4, 2017 on Hotels
Nice view BUT...the band playing was way to loud. Did not get to sleep until after midnight. The bed was extremely hard, pillow not great, parking was limited & very tight. There was extra charges for the water & coffee that was in the room but no notification there was a charge. We found out at check out. Overall not impressed. Will be staying somewhere else next time.

Not as planned beach stay

Posted May 17, 2017 on Orbitz
The room had no cable so no tv was available 2 dy stay they claim cable issue but bar and king suites had tv use. Also balcony had glass bottle scattered very dangerous for my 7 yr old to go out barefoot to balcony. Lastly ac was not prop. Working and motion sensor in bath was pain in butt if showering it shut off making dance all time... Noy happy 2 night stay. Pool was funn good food restaurant...no ice buckets though.

GREAT HOTEL ACROSS FROM THE BEACH

Posted Feb 23, 2017 on Orbitz
Arrived late from Puerto Vallarta by bus, and was greeted by Veronika, who claimed to be new. She constantly had a smile on her face, helpful and charming the whole 4 days we were there. Minor construction work next door, but covered by the wonderful noises of the waves crashing on the beach across the street. Lots of good restaurants nearby with variety as well as at the hotel. Enjoyed walking the Malecon, similar to taking a stroll in Europe after dinner. Well worth the money we paid and would eagerly go back again.
