Wonderful stay.

What a wonderful hotel to experience an authentic Mexican vacation. From the moment you go through the gates in front to walking into the lobby you feel like you are in a hacienda. It was just what we wanted after staying in the modern & fancy all-inclusives. The staff & food were above & beyond what we expected. All in all it was a great experience & we will go back. If I had to pick one thing we would have changed it was the sand on the beach, not the white sand we love.

Nice enough hotel, beach front, nice pool area

Lame wifi service, a/c system is none stop, the waiters don't care much for you if you are an all inclusive cause tip has already been given, and the end of the year party too expensive for the aweful food served. Mazatlan has great sunsets.

Hope to stay here again!

Amazing wide beach, with minimal undertow making the waves so fun for playing. Dinners were better than I expected, fantastic food although slow service. Breakfast buffet had little variety from day to day but the omelet bar allowed for some. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our 5th story room. Drinks were strong and the waiters were for the most part pleasant. I took my 2 college age boys for xmas vaca and some good family time. They were able to walk or take taxis for additional sightseeing but also enjoyed this resort. Definately not a party feel here, more a family and retired population.

Best 5 Star Hotel in Mazatlan.

Posted Nov 15, 2016 on Hotels
I'm kind of partial to this place. We have owned a time share there for 19 years. Love going there. But 1 week was never enough so now that we can go through Hotels.com and book more weeks, that's just the icing on the cake. Their all inclusive is just that. It includes food and drinks (alchohol included). And they do not skimp on the service. We are always treated royally and the staff is always friendly. In going there for 19 years, I have never once been disappointed, except for when I had to leave.

Friendly hotel & staff, stunning beach, tasty food

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: Located at the end of the road (lots of Pulmonias needed to get into town), but shuttle to Emerald Bay was free and quick.
I travelled with my wife for a week away and found the hotel to be exactly what we wanted. Brilliant as a week away to escape - beautiful beach to walk along at sunrise and sunset, delicious food and lovely staff. We've never gone all inclusive before and were really impressed with the quality of the food at Cilantro's (overlooking the beach with a wide range of Mexican/American/Italian food) and also Angelos (fine Italian dining). The breakfasts were well catered for too, with an impressive range of hot food from the buffet or cakes and fresh fruit too. This alongside some tasty poolside snacks (nachos, pizza, etc) - you can really pile on the pounds! Free use of the gym was a nice surprise - it's reasonably small but was never busy when we went. Well stocked with towels and a good range of equipment made it a good daily visit for us. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite from those in the restaurants to those serving at the pool, they were all great. Whenever you passed someone, they always said "hello" and came across as though they have good job satisfaction and were happy. The only slight negatives were the aggressive behaviour of the time share ladies who literally shouted at us through the corridors when we said we didn't want their "welcome pack" - don't get sucked in! Also, there's no free wifi anywhere at PBM (there is at Emerald Bay), which wasn't what was advertised. Overall a great place I'd be incredibly happy to return to.
