Hotel on the beach close to all facilities

Posted Jan 2, 2017
Pros: Everything about the hotel is great
Location: Close to Supermarkets and various types of service and shopping.
Great hotel the only problem is the night club on the beach which plays very loud music until about 4.00 a.m.

Hotel right on the beach with a nice pool.

Posted Feb 29, 2016
Pros: Close to the beach and easy access.
Cons: The service of the waiters.
Location: Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and clubs.
Nice hotel on the beach with easy access to the sand and 2 pools. The room and the facilities were always clean. The food is excellent! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and dinner meals. The coconut shrimp and flan are to die for. The view is awesome and it is fun to have breakfast in the morning and watch the pelicans dive for fish! The drinks are cold but the bartenders did not know how to make too many mixed drinks. So if your having adult beverages stick with the beer. The service needs some improving. The waiters do not check on you. It is hard to find them for another cup of coffee or another drink. They stand around a lot and talk to each other. We did have one good waiter when we first got there but he was not there everyday. They also have a terrible pigeon problem. They are everywhere on the tables and chairs and leave messes.

The Ramada is a very nice hotel.

Posted Feb 7, 2016
Pros: The room 311 was very nice to stay in. Except for the noise . The general area is always tidy. The towel service is very good.
Cons: Remove the Palappas from the dining area, and do make a far better attempt at ridding the area of birds. The large wooden loungers move them. never u
However during my 30 years of visits to Mazatlán I had passed by the Ramada thinking it to be a very conservative place. In respect, our room was very nice and the staff were very attentive. What was a big let down was the fact that its dining area was rather dated. Its many Palappas in the outside dining area were a big inconvenience, the steel chairs scratched upon the stone floors and worst of all the floor was covered in bird poop. Yes indeed there were lots of birds to contend with at the dining area, mainly pigeons. Turn your back and they were on your plate. Should the table leave together to go to the buffet - the birds were at your table in a flash. The room layouts at first site looked good with the winding passages giving you a look of privacy, However they also gave cause for lots of noise to be transferred into your room. So I figure we will not stay there again until at least the dining area is fixed up and a BIG attempt is made to keep the birds away from the area - yikes even at the buffet.

Cons: the noise from the Oyster club
Location: shopping, restaurants
nice hotel, clean, pleasant, close to a lot including the beach. beach isn't the greatest at this point, its very small. you don't want to stay on the north side because the noise from the Oyster club is extremely loud till 4 AM. on the far side of the building its much better. pool was cold. breakfast buffet was good. staff were very friendly. easy parking.
