Nice place but: no nearby restaurants; we visited on the weekend of the Masters Golf Tournament and being avid golfers we assumed we could watch it on TV in our room. NOT AVAILABLE! Can't understand what TV distribution system they use but this was bizarre

It’s a old beautiful building kind Mexican hacienda type, nice rooms and relaxing garden areas, our favorite hotel for a weekend scape.

Neat place, in the center of town, very convenient to food trucks (vast improvement over the omnipresent fast food in So. TX). Noticeably worn around the edges, but not uncomfortably so. Excellent staff.

Great ambience and the area the hotel was in was nice and quiet. Beds a little too soft, I have a bad back, but didn't really harm the experience. Loved the courtyard room with a small living area and balcony. Will definitely stay here next time in town!

It’s an old building, with a colonial design, long windows and a beautiful patio. The pool area is beautiful and the surroundings are quiet and nice. We really enjoyed

Room was very dirty. The tub looked like it hasnt been cleaned in a very long time. We got room service & it was still dirty. We did get our bed made & clean towels. But still pretty dirty. Room had a door out to court yard which we couldnt open because one of the beds was on the way.

I liked everything about this hotel, except they didn’t tell me I had to have a voucher for breakfast. I would’ve bought it had I known. The hotel is lovely, tropical , elegant and extremely comfortable. The room was clean and smelled fresh. I will stay here again.

Very cute property. Had all amenities I needed. Could have been cleaner in my room. A/C was ok, didn’t keep humidity at bay. People in next room partied all night & I could hear it plain as day. Had to catch an early taxi at 6am so I was very tired from not getting much sleep.

For I paid, I expected the rooms to look as nice as the outside/lobby area. They are terrible. My shower had BLACK MOLD and the wallpaper was coming off the walls. I did not feel safe at all in my room. Also, don't expect complimentary breakfast if you book through Expedia. You have to pay for your food and it's not even that good. I recommend birdies down the road. So good and a little less than their restaurant. This trip is getting reimbursed for work but I will never ever recommend this place. Please stay somewhere else.

The gym equipment needs to be upgraded as the machines are broken and past their prime. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my workout due to the malfunctioning machines.

The property is very dated. Fixtures are rusted. Tubs have rings around them. A pipe had burst, leaving us without water for 5 plus hours. Linen was dingy. Hotel did not smell fresh.

We are from the lower valley & our daughter had a Dr. appointment early the next morning and this stay was so close and made it so easy to get where we needed to be. The building its self is beautiful and very well kept. We will definitely be back for any future stays in the area.

The hotel was wonderful, and satisfied all of our needs for our stay. The front dest was having some technical issues, but the hostess was able to accommodate us, without too much interference. The self-closing doors needed their hydrolics checked, and the room AC condensation dripped from the vent, but there was nothing insufferable, and what few inconveniences were handled well.
