Two Night Stay at Drury Inn in McAllen, TexasPosted Feb 20, 2018
Pros: Good beds and wonderful pillows for bed. Great TV--room very comfortable.
Cons: Need larger bath area--suggest shower to replace tub and door to open outward (away from tub) in case of emergency in bath/shower.
Location: Good location to expressway and major city streets in McAllen.
Good location in McAllen. Adequate parking/staff excellent. Good breakfast, and good Happy Hour with good snacks. Only derogatory observation is bathroom space. If someone should fall between tub and door, door could not be open as it opens inward toward tub. Would have to take door off hinges which would take time. Bath/sink entirely too small--can only be used by one person at a time in our estimation--;poor planning on remodeling of hotel.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 30, 2017
Pros: I like that they had breakfast and happy hour
Cons: pet policy
Location: olive garden right next door and an heb
The hotel was good. No big issues-it's conveniently located next to restaurants and a grocery store. The only difference I would do/recommend is the pet policy. I understand money is to be made, but we were evacuated during a hurricane and what else do they expect us to do with our pets? It's $25 and i'm assuming that's pretty standard, but maybe being a little compassionate of our situation. There were LOTS of pets so you know they made a killing.

Great Stay and a Good TimePosted Aug 26, 2017
My family spent four days at the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The location was very convenient as well, especially being steps away from an HEB and an Olive Garden. Would definitely recommend it!
