Clean, comfortable and pleasant staff. Breakfast was good. Only complaint was the squeaky bathroom door.

Memory Lane - Pleasant Surprise

Pleasant surprise for the price and convenient distance to Sacramento. The room was newly remodeled with a nostalgic mod flare of old air force base charm. Only problem was the a/c dripped on the floor, but we just placed a towel down as it was tiled and not too much of an inconvenience.

Noisy Hotel

This hotel tolerates high noise so if you want to sleep at night- don't stay here! The rooms are nicely remodeled and staff is nice. The night we stayed the hotel was hosting a party. The party goers, not staying at the hotel, continued their party in the parking lot. They blasted music, taking loudly and at times arguing. It didn't stop till about 2 am! The rooms are very close to the parking lot so hard to block this noise out. Never stay here!!

A nice surprise

A very roomy suite with a separate bedroom. Would be great for an extended stay. Very clean and comfortably appointed. Bathroom was dated but clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Mediocre hotel. Rooms are small and looks old. Pillows are horrible (if you like firm). Did its purpose for the stay, nothing special. Staff were just meh. They did however deliver a roll away and extra towels super fast...so a plus for that.

I could not figure out the temperature gauge so it was quite cold. Also at check-in I was not verbally warned that there was a $50 charge for incidentals, and that it would be returned after my stay. I left the hotel early morning and returned wondering why my bill went from 130 to 188.

Stately rennovated officer's quarters

Pros: The old officers' club. Great food.
Cons: Toilets updated in certain rooms, I think. Ours was just OK.
Location: We were there to visit a relative in Mercy San Juan Medical Center, so we didn't do anything else. Noticed great diversity in restaurants.
Do you remember what military bases looked like in the 50s? They were picture-postcard Americana. That's what the environs around this "hotel" looks like. It's the old McClellan AFB's officer's club and bachelor officers' quarters. It is rennovated, of course, but there is such a historic sense to the place. It's classy before glitz was in. I can't explain how SAFE I felt there. It feels like going back in time historically and spiritually. The owners have updated everything. I loved the amenties--and loved having a microwave and frig and sink for food without having to ask.

It was ok

Hotel room was ok, it says that breakfast is included but when we came they told us that we need to pay $5 per person.

Spread out, difficult getting to find room.

I have an electric car, and the staff could not find the code to energize the unit. When they did, the next day, it was time for my event to end, and I had to leave before my event was over, to find a TESLA Superchargerlng station. You should not tell me you have (2) charging units if you do not have the code to turn them on !
