Unexpected overnight stay
Has to stay overnight due to vehicle issues and nothing was open on New Years Day. They also gave me a late checkout while I was dealing with the vehicle and getting a rental car to make it home. Staff and location was great!

The staff was very nice and helpful, but the room was not the best. The drawer under the microwave kept opening after being shut, there were bugs in the windows that I didnt notice until after the first night and there was a stain on the sheets on one of the beds. The breakfast was also very limited. I didn't say anything to the staff about any of this because I had such a short stay, but I should have. Again, the staff were very nice and professional.

The staff were pleasant. The room smelled musty, like it had not been used in a long time. The a/c left us sweating in our bed while on the coldest setting (didn't flip it to heat at all) and the outside temperature being freezing. The bed was super stiff and caused us to not get much sleep, especially paired with the weakness of the a/c unit. My wife got better sleep on the drive home while I was driving (and vise versa) than the nights we stayed at the hotel. The complementary breakfast had the same sausage left over each morning that we are pretty sure was originally served the week before we arrived.

The CS rep @ the front desk; said she was not charging my card for both nights but she did b4 I could get up to my room it was charged for both nights Fri & Sat. Then on Sun morning when I left before I could get to home to Booneville my card was charged $250 which was more than the stay I booked on line. They said it was smoking in the room I don’t smoke & my husband said he didn’t smoke in the room.

This is an average economy property. it is at a interstate exit which makes it convenient for travelers taking I55 between Jackson and New Orleans. The public areas are nice. The rooms are not special in any way, but the are clean and well maintained. The staff (front desk clerk) was friendly and accommodating.

The room was very clean other than still having a cigarette odor. Loved the high count sheets which made the bed super comfortable. It’s in a very convenient location off of interstate.

Checked in. The lady said my credit is denied for insidentals. I said that is weird. That is the same card I used to charge for the room. Used a different card. Same thing. I asked for a handicap room. None available. I asked for a shower chair. They had none. I asked about a step stool to climb in the very high bed. None avaliable. What does the management expect short handicap people to do? They need to realize short, handicap individual should have the same rights as anyone else.

The room had a terrible odor upon entry. It smelled like mold/ mildew. The mattress was very firm, too the point that it was uncomfortable for my husband that has a bad hip. We had a pest problem in the room. We killed three baby roaches in the bathroom on two of the three nights we stayed there. The parking spots are small so most vehicles took two spaces. The microwave in the room didn't work. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Almost everything was awesome. Customer service was awesome. I think they should change there coffee process, the taste could be better. Also, we had no way of closing the curtain enough to block the lights out.

This want not a good stay. The hotel looked old and outdated. It looks and feels like a cheap motel. When I first walked into the room I instantly regretted booking the hotel. The room had a bad smell, like a wet carpet smell. The bedding was raggedy, the comforter had a big hole with the foam coming out. The curtains had stains, the shower wasn’t cleaned properly as it had hair in the shower from the previous tenants. Housekeeping never brought fresh towels to the room and clean the room unless we asked. I will not be returning to this hotel ever. I expected way more since I paid $260 for two nights. I should’ve paid no more than $100 for that horrible hotel.
