Very clean and AMAZING staff

All portions of the hotel were spotless! The staff is really what made the experience here great. Monica (both of them) were amazing! Your hospitality was greatly appreciated. Ms. Emma - best breakfast! She treated us like family! Thanks for a great experience!

The breakfast attendant named Emma was great !! She was fun, polite and doing a great job. Food was so good !!

need improvement

Pros: personnel
Cons: Internet service
Location: no great around, but at 2 miles + they are better - traffic is also not good around 5
the personnel was awesome, very nice and polite every morning I have mixed comments, TV channels, I seen here more here than in any other more graded hotels, the refrigerator really works, but I got a lot of problems with the internet and I could't finish work that I have pending. The shower was clogged, i don't know if I will return just because of the internet, when you are traveling for business, internet is vital

Minor issues

Location: Done
Living room ceiling was filthy, however the bedroom was excellent. Electrical outlets were barely usable, cellphone and iPad Chargers were not being held in securely enough to operate unless they were played with. I am sure the outlets worked fine if you the plug was heftier. Better signage on the Main Street would be great, maybe one that's lit and says turn ahead not into the driveway.

breakfast

Cons: update the mattresses.
Location: We chose the location because we were doing Christmas shopping the next day. We were close enough to The Tanger Outlets and to Rivers Crossing, too.
Even though we could tell the hotel was older, it was well maintained. The breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever eaten at any Country Inn and Suites before. The lady was super nice and wanted to help us with everything!! The hot water in the shower wasn't very hot, but we managed.

ants in the room

I booked this hotel for an employee doing work in the area. He reported that it was not very clean and there were lots of ants in his room the entire week. He also asked that I not book him at the Country Inn and Suites in Mc Donough, GA again.

Ants & Sticky Bathroom Floor

There is definitely room for improvements at this motel. I was met with an overpowering smell of some kind of cleaning agent, upon entering the elevator. The room didn't look dirty, however, the bathroom floor seemed to have something sticky on it. My shoe stuck to the floor. As I lay in bed, I felt something crawling on my arm. I slapped it off my arm & turned on the light. I saw the dead ant and several black ants on the sheets. Also, next morning, I saw more on the bed and several in the bathroom, on the counter. I would not return to this motel, again, nor would I recommend.
