Great resort but a couple of things that could make it better. Hours should be noted on dock. My nephew was locked out there. 3 phone calls and over 20 minutes to get someone to let him out. Also the person was a bit snotty about having to come out. I suggest checking the dock for kids fishing BEFORE locking gates. And for housekeeping-4 people listed in room would require 4 towels, We were given only 3 towels and 2 face cloths at least twice. Maestros restaurant was a highlight…excellent service and excellent meals!

Good experience

It was our first trip to Big White & splurged. The house is great, the property manager was very responsive and accommodating to any concerns. The property is ski in/out through the back but for me it took a run or two to figure out how to get back to the house (either through Sundance or Millie's mile). You can ski down from the house out the back directly to Black Forest lift and Gondola lift. Getting around BW is a bit challenging after ski as the parking is limited around the resort (can park down by the gondola to take up to the restaurants > but Gondola may close at 9) and so perhaps this house would be best for planning most meals in the house. The house is well stocked with kitchen needs. Very memorable time there and enjoyed our stay greatly.

This unit is dated and faces the back of the property, overlooking the parking lot. There is also a large building exhaust/HVAC unit located near the balcony that runs 24/7, creating constant noise and making it difficult to relax or enjoy time on the balcony. We come to Barona Beach every year and have stayed in several different units at this property. Unfortunately, this was the most dated unit we've experienced, and its location was the least desirable. Given the condition of the unit and its location, we don't feel the price accurately reflects what you're getting.
