Disappointing Vacation Experience

Heard really great things about this resort hence why we settled on it and not one of the newer hot spot resorts. Was extremely disappointed in the level of service provided. Staff was not attentive despite the slow season after the hurricane and bad media. We were overcharged on different occasions for items not purchased and staff was very argumentative about it. Unless you plan on throwing money at the staff at every turn(which is overly expected here given their lack of attentiveness), I'd say this is not the resort for you. Definitely will not stay here again in future and we vacation in Cabo annually. Upside: great view of The Arch and beach.

Nice property lively pool, but terrible experience

Literally everybody in our big group got some degree of sickness and at different times, it wasn't just one meal. The staff tried to blame it on too much drinking but when you throw up four times and have diarrhea for five days, that's not alcohol (maybe bad alcohol, but not drinking too much). One member of our group had to go to the hospital for salmonella poisoning. Pretty sure I had it too. Very expensive place and overall area - breakfast buffet expensive, $10+ cocktails, etc. It's like being in Miami except you get hassled for tips constantly and offered to buy stuff. Not recommended.

Nice Hotel for Partying in Cabo

Location: Gus's Taco shop is the best. I would go back to Cabo just to go there again.
Generally nice hotel and overall good experience. Hotel is very adult oriented - probably more 'Vegas oriented' than for adults just looking to leave their kids behind. I'd opt for something quieter if I were going to Cabo for a romantic getaway. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly enough. My room was supposed to come with a $150 voucher to spend at the resort, but for some reason it was not honored at the time of check out. After two emails to obtain my room bill and fix I haven't heard a response - so make sure you get everything squared away before you leave Mexico.

Great Stay. We will be back!

Pros: Everything
Cons: a little better AC in the room but it was not bad.
Very friendly staff and super attentive. Pool is fantastic. we had the same poolside chairs three days in a row. we left the hotel twice in 5 days. it is our new "Go To' hotel in Cabo.

Worst hotel I've ever been to

The worst service. All of the staff lie to the guests. Everyone has a different answer for the same question. Hotel is a rip off. Tried over charging me with fraudulent charges and workers signing receipts for items I never purchased. Highly do not recommend. I'm making it my mission to let people know not to go there. Also, you cannot trust the staff of the hotel, as they are doing illegal things.

the people who work there are so creepy and watch you all of the time I would never stay here in my life. Went with a group of 15 people we got 6 rooms and they charged random charges to every single one of our rooms and signed our last name and room number and the service there's is HORRIBLE

Party Central

Pros: We loved the pool! The beds by the pool were luxurious. the view was stunning. All the restaurants and bars were perfect.
Cons: It was loud, but they did provide ear plugs in the room. The music changed genre during the day, and some of it was just too much jazz for me.
Location: Perfect waling distance to the marina and many bars/ restaurants of all variety of price and comfort.
It was a great place to go to be close to all the action. It was right on the beach and in walking distance to the marina. However, if you don't want to party, it's not the place for you.

Great hotel on dimmable beach

Great location and unbelievable view of El Arco. Staff was amazing and made excellent recommendations. On Saturdays there is a big pool party with a DJ . It was very loud and high energy. By 8 pm all was quiet. I will stay here again.
