Pressure about timeshares

I have stayed at this facility twice . The first time and the second time I've been pleased . I would highly recommend anyone stay here it's safe, secure and very reasonable for Cabo. The one thing that needs to change is it a plan check in your immediately taken over to a timeshare area . They will tell you that it's to help you organize your visit, this is not true and this is the only reason I didn't write this facility and excellent all the way around . You will get hassled the airport with people wanting to sell you a timeshare, the last thing you want to do is check into your room and to get a key you have to see someone else that their sole function at that facility is fine you up for timeshare . I am not sure if I will revisit this establishment do this problem as my wife was sick when we checked in and I just want to get to the room

This place has problems

Went from no water in showers to cold water showers for 3 days. Kitchen sink leaked to the floor. Bathroom toilet leaked with every flush. Had everything fixed by the time we left.

The entire wing of the building we were in smelled of mold and mildew. It took about 30 minutes to check in. They said we had a queen bed and a pull out couch, the pull out couch happened to just be a pad on the ground. Room is outdated. There are many better options in the Cabo area, not worth the money you save.

Great and clean Hotel....Food good...service Good

Pros: The Cleanliness of the Rooms and the Staff.
Cons: The Time Sharing bullying, especially when you say 'No' instead of being introduced to ten other sales reps even after you said you were not buying.
Location: Downtown, the shops are cheaper than at the Hotel for the same things the Hotel is selling...The Tours are a must.
The Hotel is magnificently Clean...Staff Wonderful...Drinks Great...Rooms always Spotless and Clean which is a Must for me when I travel but The TIME SHARING is Awful...The sales Personnel do not take No for and answer and they tell you 60-90 minutes and you will receive a Gift at the ending of the 60 minutes and food depending when you take the presentation which you never get and you spend 4hrs...This is a turn off which needs to be address and everyone you speak to said this is the only thing that would cause them not to return to the Villa Del Palmar or invite they friends and I feel the same way but everything else is great especially the staff

Over all was good easy access to other hotel close by Staff was nice but they could cut back on promotions Pools were in good condition and staff were friendly over all we had good experience.

$10 per day, per device for [slow] internet!

If you are looking for a family friendly hotel where people won't be judging you because your kids are splashing water in the pool or because you want to use the restaurants in flip flops and swimsuit, this is the right hotel for you. I still can't get past the super expensive wifi per device (not per room)... lack of a better restaurant with A/C was also an issue as temperature in Cabo is really hot and having lunch in the open restaurants by the pool was extremely miserable! :) only the sports bar in the hotel lobby has A/C. In the positives, hotel is affordable (so guess you get what you pay), close to town, the views of the Arch from the main restaurant is breathtaking and the kids facilities, pools and slides are great. The hotel has a travel and car rental agencies inside so it is very convenient for arranging sightseeing and renting a car. Just don't expect anything fancy.... I usually put hotels in one of three categories: avoid, indifferent, and must tell all of my friends. This hotel fits clearly in the "indifferent" bucket. If there are other options for you to explore, it might be worth exploring. But if this is the only option you have, it will be fine.

Nice hotel! Very esthetically pleasing. Confusing part was payment at the end of the meals and drinks even tho I was all inclusive. but the staff was great!
