I was very glad we did the Estrancia for a few reasons. #1. Nice safe beach walk to the big hotels by the arch, Downtown Cabo, and marina. #2 many folks here own the property so there is a low key vibe mixed with good pool scene. #3 great staff who do seem to genuinely care about customer service. My wife and I had done Cancun before and had almost written off Mexico...glad we tried Cabo and we'll likely go back!

Loved this hotel - Very upscale, Clean with friendly & helpful staff. Food was delicious and you could go to the restaurants as part of your all inclusive meal plan. The food was way above other all inclusive I have done - and I have done many. We will definitely go back!

In order to get a decent Mexican beer I had to take a taxi 3 miles into town to get something other than dos xx. The drinks taste like artificial sweeteners so to get a decent drink you must micro manage the bar tenders. Beautiful location over looking cabo San Lucas. Very noisy around the pool. There is always a dj with a microphone yapping away. We got many bug bites in our room.

Positano Hotel is a charming hotel, with a very nice owner. Rooms were large, had amenities and were comfortable. The grounds are lovely and would make a nice setting for a reception or party. However, it is located right on the freeway-and the noise is constant. It also if too far from any attractions to get to quickly. It requires either a bus ride-which is pretty easy, but costs every time or at least a 30-40 minute walk (to get to Cabo attractions or beach). We spent a great deal of time walking and really wished we had rented a car. If you are getting a package deal that only costs a few more dollars a day for a car-go for it. One little tip-there is a charming Mercado a block or so down the road that has two ladies that will cook for you to order at a very reasonable price. We had them make us a torta and they wrapped it up so we could go to the beach for the day -it only cost 40 pesos, a great deal and the ladies are very sweet. You can pick up water and other snacks there or walk to Walmart which is 1+ mile away.

This was one of the best hotels. The staff was remarkable and attended to your every need. The food was outstanding and I highly recommend Fellini's, we had a wonderful dinner.
My husband and the group I was traveling with are planing our next trip to return already.

The staff did not explain the layout of the resort or how the amenities worked very well.. The location of the resort was "walking distance" from town. I say that with quotes because it is walkable but the $14 cab ride is usually a better idea. I feel that we got what we paid for. There were not a lot of extras and the food was what I expected from all inclusive, basically the same foods each day and sometimes prepared slightly different. We found ourselves eating out a lot since there are a lot of fun restaurants in Cabo. Don't come here expecting to stay at your resort the whole time and not spend money. Altogether i have no complaints, just wondering if I should stay in a condo or hotel without the all inclusive next time.
