We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the third floor, it was perfect for 4 people. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the balconies were our favorite part, we loved sitting outside in the evenings before dinner to enjoy the views of Lands End. We used the kitchen a couple of times to make breakfast, but the restaurants at Casa Dorada served the most delicious food, so we ended up eating at the restaurants instead. Casa Dorada had all the amenities you could ask for, and the staff was amazing. They are ready and willing to help or answer questions, and they treated us like family. My daughter went to the Saltwater Spa to get a deep tissue massage, she was very satisfied. The pool and beach area are very clean and the service in those areas was also great, we often ordered food or drinks. You can go to the beach and have access to all type of water activities, even take a water taxi out to Lands End and the beautiful Arch, which we did. These activities were not affiliated with the hotel, but it was nice to not have to take a taxi to find activities. This hotel is conveniently located close to everything, restaurants, the marina and shopping, we walked everywhere! We would highly recommend staying at Casa Dorada, we all loved it.

Enjoyed the hotel and the staff were amazing. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The only down side was the 3 hour sales presentation that was supposed to be 90 minutes. We told them from the beginning we didn't want to buy into the time share, but they were relentless. In the end, we didn't buy and were treated poorly by the sales staff. But we regrouped and focused on relaxing for our vacation.

Although we couldn't swim at the beach on our trip because the undertow was really bad, it was a short walk down to an area where you could swim. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The food was pretty good, and the trick at an all-day buffet like this is to order something freshly cooked, such as eggs or an omelet, and the same for lunch and dinner. The hotel is going to close from Sep-Dec for renovations and I can hardly wait to see what they improve. It's only 10 years old but there is a lot of competition in Cabo so I'm sure they will make it even nicer than it already is. There is one nice hotel that has a dress code so make sure you take long pants. I didn't, come on it's Cabo, so I can't comment on the food there but we heard it is good.

Overall the hotel was nice and close to everything. The hotel does not bother you to buy a time share with them. There were a couple of issues with the room. 1st the air conditioner was not working properly. They had to come out and fix it 5 different times. 2nd, the room description was a king studio. The bed was clearly a queen and when we went to the office to complain they stated that it was a king.
