"Great Location, Great Amenities, Great Experience"
It's the best located hotel in all of Cabo. You've got the calm, swimmable ocean, with the most private beach on one side, the Marina and center of town on the other side, and this upscale resort right in the middle. Since the resort was originally built for sale, the room sizes and quality are on of the best around. The staff was super nice, accommodating, caring and professional. Even though it may cost more than other resorts, it's well worth it. You get your money's worth.
We preferred it to the Palmia because of its central location and abundant activities around it. We never had to get into a cab to go anywhere. We highly recommend staying at the Hacienda.

This was the perfect place for a weekend get away for my husband and I . We could walk to town in 5 minutes. The location was awesome . Restaurants from fine dinning to taco stands were right there .
The staff was very polite and helpful . Our room was always nice and clean. We mainly sat at the beach and the gate staff, life guard, and waiters were all so nice and professional. I would highly recommend Casa Dorado .

We chose not to upgrade our room and were pleasantly surprised with the ocean view that greeted us from our 'garden view' balcony. Ocean views from every angle at this resort. Everything was so clean and you can see the workers taking great care with daily deep cleaning across the resort. Service was amazing as per usual. RIU standards did not disappoint. Only draw-back was the restaurant reservation system, or lack there of. If you try to walk-in past 7:30 at certain places, you are likely not to get a spot. Some people like to eat later.

Villa Del Arco is a great place for families. The pool is expansive, and kept at a temperature that keeps you there all day. The staff is excellent. They knew my kids by name immediately. They helped us through a medical issue and hospital visit (not related to anything that happened at the resort). The restaurants are good, but not great. The trolley to the on site market is great for buying breakfast and lunch supplies. If you go to the beach, and you should, be ready to say "no thanks" to the dozens of sales people. The water is beautiful. Getting a cab to go into town is a piece of cake. We would stay again. It was also nice to be able to drink the tap water. Our whole group had no problems.

Yes there are fancier, more expensive 5 star resorts in Cabo but you can't beat the location, charm and overall value of Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco.
Our daily routine was buffet breakfast and dinner at Mare Norstrum next door at Rose (there are 2 short paths there), and for lunch we just ordered Nachos and fries from the beach.
Two areas that need improvement that would make this place perfect:
1. For all inclusive guests, don't present bills for food. Just let us eat whatever we want and we'll still tip for good service.
2. Pizza is terrible - worse than frozen pizza from Costco. Either invest in a real Italian pizza oven and make real pizza or just get rid of pizza and offer something that's delicious and authentic Mexican. We would love easy access to fresh fish tacos.

Positano Hotel is a charming hotel, with a very nice owner. Rooms were large, had amenities and were comfortable. The grounds are lovely and would make a nice setting for a reception or party. However, it is located right on the freeway-and the noise is constant. It also if too far from any attractions to get to quickly. It requires either a bus ride-which is pretty easy, but costs every time or at least a 30-40 minute walk (to get to Cabo attractions or beach). We spent a great deal of time walking and really wished we had rented a car. If you are getting a package deal that only costs a few more dollars a day for a car-go for it. One little tip-there is a charming Mercado a block or so down the road that has two ladies that will cook for you to order at a very reasonable price. We had them make us a torta and they wrapped it up so we could go to the beach for the day -it only cost 40 pesos, a great deal and the ladies are very sweet. You can pick up water and other snacks there or walk to Walmart which is 1+ mile away.

Only issue, which was later resolved, we're the size of the beds. We stayed in a 2 bed suite but the size of the beds were what appeared to be full size beds. As a family of 4, the bed size made it difficult for sleep. One of ny children ended up sleeping on chair cushions on the floor. When I asked about getting a pullout bed or cot I was originally told No but the next day after returning from our brunch, a cot was delivered to our room. We were truly greatful for this.
