The customer service was the best, from the moment we walked into the lobby. We enjoyed the beach and the great staff, sorry I cannot remember the two wait staff at the beach but they were very attentive . Luis the life guard not only watched the beach but would clean the sand off our chairs and towels. We would return, hopefully next year.

Positano Hotel is a charming hotel, with a very nice owner. Rooms were large, had amenities and were comfortable. The grounds are lovely and would make a nice setting for a reception or party. However, it is located right on the freeway-and the noise is constant. It also if too far from any attractions to get to quickly. It requires either a bus ride-which is pretty easy, but costs every time or at least a 30-40 minute walk (to get to Cabo attractions or beach). We spent a great deal of time walking and really wished we had rented a car. If you are getting a package deal that only costs a few more dollars a day for a car-go for it. One little tip-there is a charming Mercado a block or so down the road that has two ladies that will cook for you to order at a very reasonable price. We had them make us a torta and they wrapped it up so we could go to the beach for the day -it only cost 40 pesos, a great deal and the ladies are very sweet. You can pick up water and other snacks there or walk to Walmart which is 1+ mile away.

Honest review ~ If you are like me on deciding on a hotel, you do your research by reading some of the best reviews, some of the most recent reviews and then some of the worst reviews. That way you get an idea of what people loved, the current state of the hotel/resort and what peopled hated and why.
I recently returned from my stay at Blanco and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. My girlfriend and I had originally booked into Rose because it was marginally cheaper and both received similar reviews so I assumed they would be the same quality and I was not too worried because you can move freely between the two. Upon checking in we were told that we were going to be moved from Rose to Blanco. Oh no! After reading the nightmare stories in some of the other reviewers, I was prepared for the worst. I guess we lucked out because a short walk from Rose to Blanco we could see that Blanco was more suited for us. Our room was amazing with the best ocean views I have had at any hotel. So we were extremely happy with our room. Other reviewers complained about the beds. Yes, there are two beds and if you ask for a king they will happily mash them together for you and wahlah one king! For us the size of the bed is not the most important thing, being outside in a nice environment with a great pool, beach and friendly staff is what really counts. The room itself was nice and clean which is important in fact the entire resort was very clean.

Literally the best staff I have ever had at any stay, anywhere in the world. And I have traveled a lot for professional and personal reasons. The staff really went above and beyond to correct issues, especially the manager (Beethoven) when there was room charge issue. The best part about this stay was the fact that I was sad to say goodbye to the staff. I honestly miss them and look forward to seeing them again. Gracias Beethoven, Vicente, Luis, Catalina, David....Just to name a few!
