From the moment we arrived, we were treated wonderfully. The front office staff is professional, nice, and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful along with the views. The restaurants have a good selection. I recommend the tuna at the pool restaurant and the pizza over at the Palmar which is the neighboring resort. The views from most restaurants are great.
When at the pool, sit in the area that Carlos Patron serves at. He is funny and he will make your pool time enjoyable.
Limon y Garbo is one of the pool bartenders. He is very nice and makes the best Iced Teas.
If you like coconut, have him make you a mudslide with a shot of malibu coconut rum. Tell him that Ralph recommended it.

The resort had a good amount restaurants and a large selection of food. The food was overall delicious. The rooms were very clean and large . We had four people in a Junior Suite and it did not feel crowded. It is in a great location, right at the beach and very near Mango Deck and the Office. The pool area was very nicely stocked and the cleaning service did an excellent job of cleaning our rooms.
The only real negative was the customer service. We had 7 total people in our group and they were coming in at separate times with out last group member not getting in until midnight. Apparently the front desk had already handed out 7 wrist bands to our rooms even though all of our guests had not checked in yet and then tried to blame our group saying we must have 8 people. It was worked out in the morning and we were not charged for an extra person but we were accused of trying to sneak someone in. Also there are not many waiters at the pool area and we had to constantly go up to the bar to order drinks and food. Some of the staff were very friendly, nice, and attentive but most were not.

Positano Hotel is a charming hotel, with a very nice owner. Rooms were large, had amenities and were comfortable. The grounds are lovely and would make a nice setting for a reception or party. However, it is located right on the freeway-and the noise is constant. It also if too far from any attractions to get to quickly. It requires either a bus ride-which is pretty easy, but costs every time or at least a 30-40 minute walk (to get to Cabo attractions or beach). We spent a great deal of time walking and really wished we had rented a car. If you are getting a package deal that only costs a few more dollars a day for a car-go for it. One little tip-there is a charming Mercado a block or so down the road that has two ladies that will cook for you to order at a very reasonable price. We had them make us a torta and they wrapped it up so we could go to the beach for the day -it only cost 40 pesos, a great deal and the ladies are very sweet. You can pick up water and other snacks there or walk to Walmart which is 1+ mile away.

Hello, Everything was wonderful except for the beds. They are old and should be replaced. Warning if you like a firm mattress like I have to have don't stay there. My whole body hurt after sleeping on their beds. I even changed rooms, the beds were no better. If you have back problems don't stay there you will regret it like I am. Since I have been back for two weeks I have had to have three adjustments and am still suffering.
