OK Hotel

Pros: In the heart of the center of the city and close to all necessary amenities like shopping and dining.
Cons: Wifi.
Location: In the heart of the city so everything one will want is close at hand.
The hotel is fairly clean. The room was comfortable but the shower area was a bit small. The wifi was terrible. Some rooms in the hotel are very noisy, I had to move from the room I was first assigned. The second room I was given was reasonably quiet.

Good location off the main Street, if you need to be in the neighborhood. Clean and organized, very helpful staff even with my limited Spanish we were able to communicate.

this is downtown Medellin. hotel is around 35 years old, they have done a good job of maintaining and updating. my room had no A/C but didn't miss it. you can walk around safely with some heightened awareness.

Good value but a bit run down.

Hotel was cheap and staff at front desk were helpful. Room was a bit weird with lots of signs about fines for damaging or stealing items. Treadmills in the gym were worthless. A nice hotel but a bit run down. Still a good value and good location if city center is where you want to be so I'd stay there again.

Pros: nothing
Cons: fire the entire front desk staff
Location: could not tell you.
On check in, we were refused, because my boyfriend did not bring his passport, he had I.D. and the hotel was booked in my name and I had proof of identity, he had proof of identity also, but they would not accept. so we were there with no hotel to stay in. we looked around and found another hotel that did accept both of our proof of identity, Gran hotel staff were really idiots. I do not recommend this hotel at any rate they offer.

Dear Guest, Our facility meets the standards set by the immigration authorities in Colombia, which include the presentation of the unique valid ID for each person outside their place of origin, such as the passport. We deeply regret the lack of such restrictions for international travelers. We do not consider such idiocy, ensure the safety of each of the foreign visitors we receive, which we also with the full identification of the person at the time of check in.
