Don’t stay here unless you want to be tricked into an upcharge and limited as to what they allow as far as guests. Security is too ridiculous save time and money by getting an AirBnB

I did the pre check on the app 24 hours before arrival. Stated we would check in around 1pm we got to the facility around 130ish our room was not ready til almost 4pm (which was 1 hour past their standard check in). We paid for the deluxe room which I expected at least a fridge and microwave which was not available. The front desk did give us access to the executive lounge which was nice. However we did encounter a rather aggressive worker who snapped at my husband when he was using the self service cappuccino machine incorrectly. The room was overall nice spacious bedding was comfortable bathroom clean. The tv was a little hard to figure out as well as room service. There was no menu available physically you had to go on the tv to scan a code to pull up the menu. The phones in the room were a little hard to figure out. It was also a hit and miss if I got a good English speaking person on the phone. But I wouldn’t knock them on stars for that since I’m in a Spanish speaking country. What I was a little disappointed in was that this is the Marriot in a big financial district of Medellín and they did not offer money exchange. I stayed at the holiday inn in another city of Colombia and they had that available. The pool location itself was nice but we took a night swim with our kids and there was no staff to get towels. There was also no spa even though the pool was heated. Lastly minuscule inconvenience is the limited dining. And the location of the hotel

The service was very slow, we asked for pizza and coca cola, pizza was delivered an hour and a half later, the drink never arrived, during breakfast same, they take to much time to deliver the eggs. in the pool, we requested ice, and took a good half an hour to arrive, the same as the pool towel took almost 1 hour to get it. apart from that our stay was really good

Good hotel but don’t dine there !
We were their during the holidays and their restaurant charged high price for dinner buffet as the only option even we were not interested in this an needed al crate only! Otherwise the hotel is great and the city was closed except visiting nature sites!

The customer service at the hotel was stellar. The staff are very welcoming and informative of some of the great places to visit in the city. I definitely enjoyed my stay and will be coming back!!!

When arriving to the hotel to check in, they assigned my family and I to a room that a previous tenant smoked inside the room. We asked for a different room, waited close to an hour a half for a new room in the lobby while they checked in two other rooms over that time. When I approached the front desk again to ask why we couldnt have one of those rooms they somehow found a different room to give us when they could of did it at the beginning. The next morning we then got moved to another room on a higher floor that i paid for to start. That night our neighbor was playing very loud music all night long, 7 am i called to have someone come up to tell them to shut it off. The next night we were told by a note on our door that the hotel will have to shut off the power of the hotel from 1am to 4am to fix some things, it was extremely hot in our room. Overall this hotel did not meet my expectations. I had high hopes for this hotel and i was very disappointed.

We loved this hotel. It is quite luxurious, the bed is comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. For $55/day extra we upgraded to a room with a great view, use of the lounge where they had delicious appetizers and free drinks, and free breakfast which had an extensive buffet with great food including typical Colombian as well as American breakfast food. Well equipped gym. Right across the street there is the small La Strada strip mall with a good Colombian restaurant La Hacienda and a great sushi place Sushi Light.

Comfortable room w/ a view. Good location. Shopping, restaurants and pharmacy walking distance. Hotel taxis you can charge to your room or pay with credit card, very convenient.
