I booked thrugh Expedia, something I won't do again. Not sure who dropped the ball between Expedia and the Inn, but I messaged with questions and requests in advance. Booked a "dog friendly" room. Asked about pet fee (yes, there was one) and microwave (Inn website says these must be requested in advance, didn't mention whether there were fees on those.
Never got a response before checking in. So that was ehen I learned there was a pet fee (common these days, I realize) and there should be a micro in the room. There wasn't, and they brought one over as soon as I contacted them...no fee. So what is that all about?
But the property, while it was off season, had charm and some good doggie space outside. Clean, friendly. For the stated rate through Expedia, it would have been a great deal...but between the added pet fee and higher rate than what Expedia listed, I had to wonder why they list dog friendly rooms and don't include the dog fee when quoting rates. Biggest probl was no response to my questions theough the online messaging. :-(
