Excellent lodging in the woods!

Posted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: The room was very spacious, and clean with nice amenities such as in-room fresh coffee with filters rather than the usual stale pre-packaged stuff.
Location: Ashland is a great winery destination, but a designated driver would be a good idea for driving to Greensprings afterwards. Hyatt Lake nearby.
More like a resort than Cabins and Inn. Great restaurant on the premisses. Staff and owner very friendly and welcoming. A popular place for travelers stopping for a meal. It's about 20-25 minutes SE of Ashland. Windy road was no problem for us. We are used to that where we live. We will be back for a longer stay!

Perfect get away place!

We enjoyed the cabin so much. Each cabin had sufficient distance each other to provide privacy. Enjoyed BBQ and using full kitchen. Definitely going back again.

This place is a hidden paradise. But it is not close to Ashland ... it is 30 minutes up a steep windy paved road north of Ashland. But if you want a place to get away, it has everything ... comfy beds, delicious food on site, miles of hiking trails, and wildlife to keep you company.

Lovely cabin the woods

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Short drive to downtown ashland, this cabin was half mile away from the pct. resident chickens wander the property along with deer passing by. Amazing bath tub with jets, stylish room and all tge amenities to make you feel at home. Restaurant was good. Don't miss the giant cookies for dessert!

great location comfortable

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Setting is wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great breakfast one morning and great cinnamon buns the next. Deer and other wildlife wandered the grounds. Wi-fi worked well. No television in our room, but that was welcome break. The road there was paved but primitive. It took about 20 minutes from Ashland. We had an unexpected whirlpool bath in a separate room as well as the usual bath. We will stay there again when we visit OSF

Well worth it!

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: everything!
Cons: nothing
Location: hike in peaceful retreat!
We were disappointed that this gem of a hideaway with great food was so far from Ashland, but it was well worth the trip back and forth. Great people! The ambiance was so peaceful and supportive and the breakfasts were to die for!
