I didn't like listening to a neighbor yelling at people in the hallway at 8:30 pm. That wasn't too late and he can't control anyone. Seriously made me mad when I heard him yelling at kids and they didn't do anything wrong. They were knocking on their door to get in.

I understand that we have a problem as a country with the unhoused, but I was genuinely startled by an unhoused person in the parking lot as I was getting my luggage. No one at the desk when I got there. Woman rushed out of the office with no apology or explanation. Not friendly. My room had 2 major problems - one was the toilet supply line was off and there was urine and toilet paper in the toilet, the fridge was unplugged and I had to lift the fridge out of the cabinet to plug it in. There was a dog in the room across from me that barked loudly most of the night. Definitely would NOT recommend for women traveling alone.

Great rates, great staff. Sucked that spa/pool was down for maintenance as that was my main attraction. Limited breakfast. Sucked that an event was going next door as load cars around midnight. I’d stay again though because of the staff and rates.

As far as the spa/pool there are rules to follow from Jackson County Environmental Public Health to drain the water and scrub inside the pool and tub. Before we fill it again with water. Unfortunately, it happened during your stay.As far as breakfast let me remind you it's a complimentary (free) breakfast. We can choose not to offer free breakfast, or we can offer a free limited breakfast. I believe our free breakfast is more than enough to satisfy your hunger in the morning. Also, realize that our hotel is Inn & Suite and not Hilton or Marriott.Thank you,Marieta Carino

We came to area for hiking with plans of pool and jacuzzi afterwards and stayed here for that reason. Nothing online indicated both were out of service. Also was charged $30 for a 4 lb poodle that is 14 years old. I felt the amount was excessive. All juice machines at breakfast were out of service and no milk. Hotel was clean and area is very convenient.

I have shared your feedback with staff.As far as the pool & hot tub being down at your recent visit. Because it was time to change the water and scrub/clean the entire pool and hot tub. Before, we fill in the water. Jackson County Environmental Public Health have rules for us to follow how to take care our pool & hot tub. Unfortunately, it happened at your recent stay.For the pet fee you mentioned whether 4lbs to 35lbs we charge the same. Pet is a pet. We do not charge by the lbs. Most of the hotels nowadays are charging pet fees. I believe our rates for pet fees are one of the cheapest.We appreciate you stayed with us and thank you for your time for sharing your valued feedback. The hotel is lovely and nice and clean. Breakfast features eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffle making station. Nearby shopping and dining are very convenient. But...the lovely park in front celebrating veterans of WWII is so often filled with sleeping homeless people, roaming homeless people using the hotel sidewalks and gobs of trash left by homeless people that it was really disconcerting to be outside walking my dog. It was a quiet, comfortable stay and the city appears to be trying to keep up with the trash and people at the park. You can walk next door to Elmer's restaurant, Harry and David's shopping Mart and about 1.5 blocks to Walmart.

We try our best to prevent the homeless people coming to our property. Occasionally some homeless dig through our trash without knowing. But we do not see any homeless sleeping in the park. Specially in this type of weather. Your claimed about filled with sleeping homeless are overstated. Nowadays, you see homeless everywhere and there's nothing we can do about it. Also, when we see homeless camping in the park, we call the police to come and ask them to move. Again, thank you for your time and feedback. Staff is friendly and room is clean but the common areas are not clean. We checked into our room and the beds had been slept in and there was soap on the counter. We booked a king, non-smoking but got moved to a two bed room. These beds look smaller than queen. We also witnessed another family checking into their room with someone elses stuff already inside. Things seem fairly disorganized. I would like to cancel my next two nights but it's aparently too late even though we didn't get the room we booked? Probably won't use expedia next time.

Shady area around the building, no towels in the bathroom, pillow cases and sheets were very wrinkled and thin, shower was like a fire hose, elevator smelled like cigarette smoke, towels I picked up at the front desk were old, thin, and rough like they had been used at the pool. I booked two night, but left after the first night and checked into a Courtyard hotel, which was a great decision.

Bathtub plug didn't work. No hot water late at night. Had someone steal my Baseball hat out of weight room. Number of homeless people roaming around parking lot throughout the night. Bed was comfortable.

Rented 2 rooms, no maid service. Toilet overflowed in one room for no reason and staff never responded had to clean up with bath towels and when we asked for more towels we had to take the dirty toilet water towels down to front desk to receive new ones. Other room had a broken tv and it wasn’t fixed after notifying the front desk.

Room was good and clean. Only complaint was that we travel with my husband's service dog, at breakfast we were ask to leave the breakfast area by the desk attendent because of his dog. We have never been ask this in any resturtant or eating establishment before. Maybe more training of ADA rules is needed.

As far as the ADA rules we have a copy and how to handle pets and service animals.The ADA rules it says a person who is blind and have a service dog and a person on a wheelchair and have a service dog are considered as service dogs and allowed to bring their service animals to the dining area and sit in a designated area. The breakfast person told you that you can sit in the lobby. I want you also to be mindful for other people who are allergic to animals. In the ADA rules we can ask a person with a service dog with these questions; Is the dog a service animal required because of disability and What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? According to ADA rules dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA rules. Hi Valery,If you booked your reservation through third party, they have your money and control of your reservation. When you made the reservation, they sent you a confirmation letter. In that confirmation letter it tells you the cancel policy; 24hrs, or no cancel. If it's 24hrs you need to call the reservation center so they can cancel your booking. Otherwise, your credit card will be charged. Also, the hotel hold your reservation until you check in. If not you will be charged as NO SHOW if you don't call. If you call and cancel your reservation, we can re-sell the room.Thank you for understanding.Marieta Carino

I did not know pets were allowed in the hotel. I was on the second floor during New Years Eve. I woke up several times to loud barking from a large dog (sound of his bark). I must have woken up about 5 times during the night.
