Everything was clean and pleasant. Very close to the Shakespeare Festival and restaurants (about 5 minute walk). Parking was easy and close to the entrance of the hotel and all the staff was friendly and helpful.
This is the third and probably last time I will stay in a historic hotel. The lobby is grand, the elevators antiquated and slow. The room small and shabby feeling. I guess this is fine if you are only going to use the room to sleep in, otherwise I would suggest you'll get much more for your money ...
Comfortable, free breakfast enjoyable. Clean and satisfying
Like a Best Western light. Smaller but quite a bit less expensive.
The Bard’s Inn is a great value and the location is excellent. Our room for two was cozy but didn’t feel cramped. Breakfast was delicious. Our only critique is that the (terrific!) housekeeping service got to our room what we considered to be very early - before 9. Once we remembered to put the Do ...
I did not expect to find such a pleasant hotel for the money . Everything about it was nice.
I needed a sleepover from Seattle to the Redwoods - this worked well - clean and quiet rooms right on the river and great breakfast!
If you want to get outside the city then this is the place.
Good shower pressure and good working toilet. Clean bathroom. I think a clean bathroom says a lot about a place. The carpet could have used a shampoo. The bed was lopsided and wasn't too comfortable. But the staff was accommodating and friendly. The price was decent. It was a good space to spend ...
Comfortable elegant room. Jacuzzi tub and fireplace in our room was wonderful
Was seriously disappointed that there was an extra 40 dollar “fee” for some unknown reason when we checked in. There was a hole in our threadbare sheets next to a small, but fresh looking blood spot However they did fold the first sheet of toilet paper into a nifty little rose.
Very nice - had a wonderful breakfast. The rooms are very nice and quiet. Nice view of the river.
We had a wonderful two night stay. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods available. Homemade scone of the day, each day, were yummy. Nicest breakfast room we’ve ever seen. Lobby, etc. all very nicely decorated. Quiet, calming, beautiful grounds. Loved the large jetted tub, great to relax ...
Unclean. Food and dirty spoons in one of the drawers. Unkept. Disappointed.
Only negative was that our room was still being cleaned when we got there so we had to sit around and wait for about 25 mins. The woman did do a great job cleaning the room. The indoor.pool.and spa was an added bonus. We took advantage of breakfast which was very nice. Def was more than I expected ...
The staff was great and the hotel was very clean and modern. They had wine and crackers in the lobby as well as delicious warm chocolate cookies in the evening.
Great hotel except the pool wasn’t open but otherwise nice remodeled rooms.
Room was great hotel employee was great everything was wonderful it was a great stay.
The hotel seems good at first but some problems when in the room. No breakfast anymore which was better to have been included
Great place to stay at a reasonable price! Very clean and nice folks.
I was really surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price! Great service too
