Comfortable, quiet, good value hotel in Ashland

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Location: Make sure to see Lithia Park. There are good trails that extend over a mile. Park is adjacent to the Shakespeare Festival area.
My sister and I enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet. The breakfast was more extensive than the usual "continental" fare. The hotel reception staff were very professional.

Budget option in expensive location

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Free full breakfast. We also had a suite with kitchen (minimal cooking gear) so wecould avoid every meal in a restaurant. Good for a family with a child like us.

Affordable option, not far from downtown Ashland

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Convenient, simple, affordable
Location: Quick drive from downtown Ashland
This hotel is a great option if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Ashland. The hotel is not downtown, but it is a quick and easy drive to downtown Ashland. It's a simple hotel...clean, affordable, close to I-5. They do offer a basic continental breakfast, but if you're in town to experience Ashland, I would highly recommend skipping the continental breakfast and dining downtown.

Comfortable, but you have to work for it.

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Wife liked the beds, I thought they were too soft
Cons: Improve the access driveway around the gas station
Location: Oregon Shakespeare festival , great dining
Nice motel, great staff, but it is three stories, and no elevator - just stairs

Underwhelmed by Amenities

Posted May 20, 2015 on Hotels
I wish these chain hotels would upgrade their amenities. The rooms have only coated plastic coffee cups, yet mugs are available in the breakfast room. Why not in the rooms? No glassware in the rooms. Drinking the wine I brought in a paper cup was ridiculous. This hotel had only that old "conditioning shampoo", no body lotion. Breakfast was mediocre with circular, pancake-like scrambled eggs and, of course, the waffle-maker. All in all, underwhelmed.
