Great Motel close to downtown & restaurants.

Posted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Most everything!
Cons: Some touch up painting throughout.
Location: We were on a mission to get through Grants Pass so I am not sure about extra curricular things to do. We ate at the Black Bear Diner, which was great.
Sweet Breeze Inn was the right price, clean, cozy and quaint. Our room was decorated in a blue country theme. We had colored towels & printed sheets. Beds were comfortable. We called ahead and asked if our rooms air-conditioner could be turned on and management obliged. At the front desk they had Sweet Breeze Inn pen/lights for their guests to take. All in all, a very GOOD experience!!!

The "Home Feel"

Reminds me of my grandma's place. Though the motel needs renovation and innovation, it was still a pleasant stay.

Nice rooms

Posted Oct 14, 2013
Cons: Menu for the TV
Location: Not much to do in Grants Pass - we went fishing
Nice place, clean, quiet good prices and free internet. A good place to stay for business or if you're visiting people in Grants Pass

Great value - and clean

Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: New, clean, attentive staff.
Cons: The toilet stopper valve did not close after a flush. It had to be closed manually for the tank to refill.
Location: The Laughing Clam was a great place for decent food, and good microbrews. They were open later on a Tuesday night than most places.
This was mostly a place to spend the night before moving on the next morning. I didn't see anything about a breakfast, but there were some bagels and plastic wrapped pastry in the office in the morning. All aspects of the room appeared new and clean. There was a fridge, a TV, and a microwave. The staff turned on the A/C for me before I arrived (it was in the 90s). Considering it's on 6th street, which is highway 199, it was fairly quiet at night.

Cute but the street lights wont let you sleep!

Posted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: I loved the Maid staff...she rocked!!! This place is quite quaint as well.
Cons: Move the lights!!!
Was greeted by a friendly man at the front desk who made it known immediately that he was only "helping out". He was quite efficient, and we checked in quickly. My husband had just had a knee replacement and he accommodated the downstairs room request even though we were scheduled for an upstairs room. That was annoying since I had explained this situation when I booked the room and upon calling Expedia they said it was handled...but apparently not at the hotel level...but it all worked out. The room was cute, good sized, and clean. BUT the street lites all face the windows of all the rooms and our room was right inline with a street light that shone into our room all night!!! Four nights of very bad sleep was not cool. So....buyer beware....there really isn't a room in that hotel where the street lights wouldn't be a problem!

Don't want to be unkind. Hotel staff not helpful, seemed disinterested. Room was clean, very outdated. Sheets were scratchy.

Just Fine, Not Terrible

Posted Apr 12, 2013
Pros: Price
Cons: Small Beds
Location: Close to freeway and not far from downtown
This place was cute and kitschy. I wouldn't call it nice. Our room had a stale smell. We left the door open and it did air out, eventually. The ice machine was broken, and it was impossible to figure out the cable on the TV. The front desk staff was hard to communicate with. The beds were very small. It was a fine motel but I would pay a little more next time to be more comfortable.
