I've stayed at the timbers literally hundreds of nights over he years... usually its my favorite for price, comfort, central location, friendliness. It's still not bad with the staff changeover but it's not even close to as friendly as it used to be... it's not unfriendly, it's just like any other ok motel.
The room was overcrowded with a huge 1980s piece of furniture that was meant for one of them giant 80stvs and stereo... it would create so much more room to get rid of it. It felt so crowded and i was n alone.
The bathtub was gross. Clogged so water and hair rose up from the drain. Very disgusting.
No more sweets and coffee in the lobby in the morning. Whatever.. it was never great but it was an n attempt. That's just non existent. That's fine.
The bed was comfy... the tv was might as well been on the ceiling... way up on top of that monster of an entertainment piece to hold one thin modern tv, a tiny microwave and fridge... kinda thought it ridiculously funny.
Again most of not so great review was the disgusting clogged bath with not so much as an apopogy or empathy for the gross inconvenience. That would have been nice. Oh I'm so sorry... that won't happen again..
I something.
