One night on the coast.

Posted Jul 11, 2012
The hotel is well located inside the old, walled city and a few minutes walk to the beach. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. There was no air conditioning in the room but it was cool and comfortable, simple and cosy. The bathroom was the big let down, with only one towel and no toilet roll, and the shower was utterly ridiculous - I stood directly under it and remained bone dry whilst the rest of the room was hosed down (the shower head was broken). The walls of the hotel were also wafer thin, so you could hear the slightest creak or noise from anywhere in the building. Having said all that, it was cheap so like anything you get what you pay for, and for one night only it did the job.

Fantastic Raid with a Great View of the Beach

Posted May 3, 2011 on Hotels
Azzouz 7 was the best Riad we stayed at during our trip to Morocco and I would certainly go back there again. Located in a quiet off street just a few minutes from the very center of the old city, it was a beautiful and quiet place to relax during our trip. Ilham was super helpful and provided us with everything we needed and the rest of the hotel staff were very nice as well. The breakfast was excellent and was also varied, served on the beautiful terrace which overlooks the ocean and the beach. We often preferred to simply get take out food and bring it back to the hotel terrace as opposed to eating in a restaurant since the hotel and sunbathing area were so nice. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, and the fact that the hotel had Wifi was helpful for us keeping in touch as well. The hotel was also just a quick walk from the beach and anything else you could want in Essaouira. Certainly worth it, would recommend and stay here again!

Decent experience

Posted Apr 4, 2011
The hotel service was good, however the place was dark and only had one small windows in the room and none in the bathroom besides one that looked out to the hallway and thus could not be opened. The cleaning service was great and the breakfast was superb, however the hotel was located down a dark alley which we didn't enjoy. We were the only guests staying in the hotel for the 2 nights we were there so our overall experience was a little different than most.

Außer billig, nichts zu bieten

Posted Sep 30, 2012

Posted Jul 25, 2011 on Hotels
