Two Rooms; Two Very Different Experiences

I did not like the room I was put in when I arrived. It was small, the furniture was old-what little there was of it, and it did not have a place to hang my coat on a hanger. There was only a metal hook in the wall. That first night, water from the toilet overflowed all over the bathroom and out into the main bedroom area. It happened about 3 am, so I thought I had to wait until morning to report it. A man came, used a plunger, adjusted the float and told me everything was ok. I told him I did not feel comfortable staying in that room for my second night. He put me in another comparable room, but the furniture was new, the toilet works fine and it is a much more comfortable and pleasant room. I could recommend the second room to others, but not the first.

Lost a customer

Was accused of smoking in a room that I didn't smoke in, I've stayed there plenty of times and never had a problem but it's under new money hungry management. Staff told me they was gonna charge me 150 for no reason. Needless to say they lost a customer

No issues, very dedicated staff, quiet location with a good number of restaurants in walking distance, too.

Just Passing By

Very basic, older motel. Friendly employee and clean, fresh smelly room- but very outdated. Okay for just passing through.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!

Everything was fine until 5 hours after I left. They called me and accused me of stealing the phone from the room! They charged my debit card $80 for the phone! That was more than the cost of the room! I told them that I didn't have their phone. I have my own phone! They said the phone was there when housekeeping checked the day I got there but was gone when housekeeping checked after I left. I told them someone else must have taken it. They said they have video footage that shows no one else was in the room after I left. I told them that I've stayed in hundreds of motels and never been accused of such a thing! I've never been accused of stealing by anyone in my 61 years of life! I'm a retired teacher and a fine, upstanding citizen! This is an attack on my character! I went to my bank to dispute the charge. They said I might have to work it out with the motel, which I've already tried. I also contacted the police who said they can only file a report of my complaint. Please take this motel off of your list. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience this! I have to wonder how many other people have been accused of stealing by this motel!

Just want to let you know that the phone was missed during your stay so, you are the register person for the room. So you are responsible for the property damage. That was the charge on your credit card. But still we have refunded back to you.

Very Considerate and Understanding

Pros: Very clean room, personal attention to patrons needs & close proximity to fast food restaurants.
Cons: The breakfast menu could be expanded.
Location: Candle and gift store nearby, great candy/chocolate store near Kohls in Medina.
We asked if we could check in at 12 pm instead of 3 pm as Expedia did state we had early check in and the staff (could be family owned which made it even better for their understanding) bent over backwards to accommodate us. The room got cleaned quickly and we got in to a freshly sanitized room fast. The room key did not work at first, so the cleaning staff opened up the door for us which was very nice of them as they probably could see how exhausted we were from our long drive. There is a Wendy's and Arby's that you can walk to from the hotel whenever you want to grap a bite to eat or need some coffee. I had a pleasant and restful stay here and the front desk could not have been any more kinder, patient, professional & considerate. Quite an affordable price.

Family overnight getaway

Room was not clean under beds and behind furniture. The bathroom was also not clean. Did not like paying for wifi. The hallway smelled really nasty too.
