Near the Djemaa el-fnaPosted Mar 12, 2018
Good location - a little difficult to navigate the first time but hotel staff always willing to help. No TV or Swimming pool - we didn't mind but some people would like those features

Thanks for your feed back. Why do you complain when everywhere there is written that there is no television at Riad Azoulay and the pool mesure 5x2 metres? We are in a 1600 building in the historic center. How would it be possible to have a swimming pool?

Authentic Riad in great locationPosted Nov 23, 2017
Pros: This Riad has a very peaceful feeling even though it is right in the heart of the old city. O
Cons: Airport car service could be updated
Location: Located in the Jewish quarter of the Médina it is within walking distance of all the sights of Marrakech.
This was my second visit in 18 months so I obviously like this place. It offers personalized service with an almost 1:1 stars to guest ratio. They even give you a local phone for free during your stay.

Amazing Weekend Visit to Marrakech!Posted Oct 14, 2017
Location: The Souks are literally right outside of the door. You can just wander around to look at all of the shops and there are plenty of restaurants.
My friends and I traveled to Marrakech for a quick weekend shopping and sightseeing trip. Riad Azoulay was absolutely beautiful and helped us make all of the necessary arrangements before hand to ensure we had a smooth arrival. They set up transfer for us from the airport, which was recently updated and stunning. Our driver met us right outside of the main airport door with a sign and quickly took us right to the Riad. He dropped us off at the nearby square, the taxi's cannot drive into the old city, and someone met us to help us with our bags to the Riad, which was only a 5 min walk. They also helped us set up a cooking class for that night were we all helped prepare our traditional Moroccan dishes. Breakfast was ready for us each morning with made or order eggs, pastries, yogurt, and fresh coffee/tea. We walked the souks during the day and toured the Palace, which was next door. The rooms at the Riad were all different sizes and layouts with sitting areas and large bathrooms. The doors to the bedrooms do not lock but there was a safe in each room with a key. The Riad has only a handful of rooms and they keep the front door locked (you have to ring the bell to get in) so I always felt safe. Overall the Riad Azoulay staff was incredibly nice and accommodating with anything we needed. The old city itself is great to wonder around and all of the shop owners and restaurant workers are friendly and cheery.

Very attentive hostsPosted Aug 2, 2017
Pros: Clean, safe, good location, attentive and personalized service. Great dinner and breakfast! Nice pool in the courtyard.
Location: Perfect location in the Jewish Quarter and Spice Market. Walking distance to all main sites and the Big Square and Souks
It was an amazing experience at Riad Azoulay! Perfectly located, it's right in the middle of the Jewish Quarter and spice market and is close walking distance to everything you'll want to see. They arrange transport from the airport and provide a really lovely welcome reception where they provide you with all of the information you need for your stay. The rooms are beautiful, and the dinner that was served on the evening of our arrival was delicious. Breakfast is really nice, too! Everything is very clean and safe, and everyone there was absolutely amazingly nice and helpful. When we first set out to explore, Abdallah walked with us to show us how to get to the main sites because the little streets are confusing at first. From the time I booked, Massimiliano gave me a very personalized service and was in contact with me regularly before the trip. I highly recommend Read Azoulay!

Made the best decision to stay here for 3 nights with my son in The Sultana suite. Room fabulous as were the staff who's names unfortunately I can't remember! But they did everything they could to make our stay very enjoyable and would recommend anyone to stay here ... you will not be disappointed!
Good value - clean and comfortablePosted Jun 18, 2017 on Hotels
Nice hotel - good location, quiet, clean, comfortable. Great showers. The food was not varied but was decent. The staff was really, really nice. But not as much hand-holding as I liked. I wasn't shown around when I got there and didn't get to sit down with anyone to go over a map or anything. Once I did inquire, they were helpful. And some, not all, spoke English.
