Very basic. Not comfortable

Posted Mar 1, 2017
Pros: The manager Mouta was very helpful. There was nothing for which she would not offer help.
Cons: The room facilities. More choice for breakfast
Location: Central in the Medina near to most tourist locations and the souks
Very basic rooms. No chairs or bedside lamps in the room. No wardrobes. No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. Extra charges everytime tea or coffee requested outside of breakfast. Same breakfast daily - not much choice

Thank you for taking time to share your point of view, and to highlight the availability of our staff, and the good location of our establishment. We take note of your disappointment not to have a minibar in the room, but we privilege the service via the staff of our guest house who is there to help you discover our local products. The breakfast is typically Moroccan, decorated with fruits, dairy products or eggs cooked according to your desires, we are at heart to vary our proposals. Indeed, we do not offer a dressing gown, but towels are at your disposal, and we provide you with additional ones for the pool. All our rooms are equipped with light in head of bed, either in sconces or in lamps of bedside. We do our utmost to ensure that our guests leave satisfied with their stay. We apologize for not being able to meet all your expectations. Your anonymous comment does not allow us to define in which room you stayed. Don't hesitate to contact us again, it would be very helpfull for us.

Riad Chamali is like being at home sweet home

Posted Feb 7, 2017
Pros: STAFF!, cleanliness, food, price vs value ratio,
Cons: I really didn't needed it but a safe could be a nice addition.
Location: Main square is with-in walking distance, so market shopping and visiting the sights is very easy.
Riad Chamali is conveniently located at about 10 minutes walking time to the Jamaa el-Fnaa main square of the Marrakech medina. The place is very well maintained, looking very good. The staff is incredible polite and helpful. Mouta, the manager, speaks perfect English so it was very easy for us to have all our questions and requirements fulfilled. Breakfast was always on time and delicious. We ordered dinner for the night before we left and it was incredible good. Mouta helped us a lot with useful and precise information about the city, the places to go, the approximate prices of all the things we wanted to buy and everything needed for us to be safe and enjoy the city. Staying at Riad Chamali made our visit to Marrakech the best experience we could expect, we felt always safe and cared for like with our family.

Great spot and very relaxing! Recommend you have them pick you up at he airport otherwise you will never find the place through the maze of alleys. Walking distance to all the places in the medina.

Thank you for your comment. The medina is well knowed to be Looking like a labyrinth, so the first time you come, we indeed advise you to use our taxi, so that they can escort you till the riad door.

Amazing Riad

Posted Dec 16, 2016 on Hotels
The Riad is very well maintained and the rooms are very traditional and clean. The staff is humble and very helpful. Even with our language barrier, they were very accommodating. Breakfast here is delicious and so is the three course dinner. We preferred dinner at this Riad over many restaurants in Medina. The manager made us reservations to an amazing Hammam and to a local restaurant. Will definitely return here and will recommend Riad Chamali to friends and family.

Nice riad in Marrakesh

Posted Nov 17, 2016
Pros: The breakfast, the well maintained hotel, the room, the friendly staff.
Cons: Put signs up in the streets to find the riad.
Location: It is in a very quiet location but not far away from many tourist attractions.
We stayed there for one night and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. The riad is very quiet. The hotel facilities are very nice and the terrace on the roof is something very special. The breakfast was incredible. The riad is a little tricky to find, but the hotel staff is picks you up and takes you to the main street. It is very close to the tourist attractions of the old city of Marrakesh.

Very peaceful and well run Riad

Posted Nov 13, 2016
Pros: The atmosphere, the food, the staff
Cons: N/A
A great place to stay in Marrakesh as you are close to the centre of the Medina but the Riad itself is very quiet and gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina for a rest. Very clean and well run and the staff are lovely.

Peaceful quiet place in the heart of the Medina

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Pros: I loved the style of this riad. It's roof top patio has plenty of places to relax and the staff were very friendly. Lots of mint tea!
Cons: The dinner we had here wasn't as fulfilling as many restaurants that are a quick walk from the riad. The tangine could of used more vetegtables or potatoes.
Location: You aren't far from the airport and the main square. There is a square closer to the riad that has quick eats and some amazing rooftop dinners.
