Beauty in the chaos!

Posted Nov 20, 2017
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we had the perfect stay. Staff were on hand to help at any time to give you guidance and assist in what is a frantic and at times overwhelming environment. Staff were the calming influence when coming in from the hustle and bustle and it was like a calm oasis in a busy city. Rooms were adequately sized and cleaned immaculately. Remember that this an old style riad in the historic city and not a purpose built hotel and complex so rooms feel realistic and authentic to Morocco, but maybe slightly darker than more modern style hotels. I stress this is not in any way a bad thing, we really liked it that way. Breakfast was beautiful every day including (but not only) fresh fruit, figs, dates, eggs of your choice and nice teas and coffee. It felt like nothing was too much for staff. While checking in for the return flight, it was highlighted we needed a paper boarding pass for the airport rather than electronic phone version. Staff printed off the paperwork without any issues, straight away and were happy to help. If you want a quaint, personal and authentic feeling riad which is calm and beautifully presented and has a series of outdoor terraces and indoor seating areas look no further. Absolutely perfect stay. Thank you all so much. *However, if you want a new style, purpose built, bland golfing holiday complex style suite with white walls and no soul then maybe give this a miss!*

Perfect Riad, close to the centre of the medina

Posted Nov 11, 2017
Pros: Delightful owners, smiling helpful staff, good food, lovely wine, delightful rooms. The whole place was clean, immaculate and in tiptop condition.
Location: Very close to Medina centre. Souk to wander in and barter for all sorts of goodies. Lots of restaurants nearby. Easy access to the Atlas mountains.
We have stayed in Marrakech twice before and are only sorry we did not find Riad Itrane from the first visit. The owners Patrice and Charlotte are gentle, helpful people who made our stay a delight. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like we were genuinely welcome in their home/Riad.

Hidden gem in the midst of the busy medina

Posted Oct 11, 2017
We had an amazing stay at Riad Itrane. The staff was outstanding and went above and beyond expectations. The food served at the Riad was the best we experienced in Marrakech and we did visit some very nice restaurants. The location was great for experiencing Marrakech as it is set right in the souk area of the medina yet very quiet and tranquil once you stepped through the door of the Riad. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Best Riad

Posted Jul 14, 2017 on Hotels
Fabulous Riad; great location, on quiet street but close to main square. Safe neighborhood; walking distance to many sites, short cab ride to others. Staff was very attentive to our needs, breakfast was delicious and varied every day. Pool was great after walking in 100+ temperatures. Fabulous terraces, very private with views of the city - nice place to relax. Would go back.

Top Value/ Great Location

Posted Jul 10, 2017 on Hotels
Amazing Riad; location couldn't have been better, on quiet side Street, but close to all the action and main square of medina. The staff was very attentive, breakfast by the pool varied, and roof top terraces on different levels were private and great places to relax, enjoy a drink - which staff helped us find -or talk with friends. Other couples were enjoyable to meet, and provided us with some guidance for our travels. A first rate experience, better than a 5 star hotel, much more personable. Pool was nice place to cool off after walking in hot temperatures during the day. Our friends were as impressed as we were with the Staff and the place. Rooms were comfortable, everything worked, and area was very safe. I went out very late at night to enjoy more of the sights/ sounds/ shopping and had no problems.

A must for an authentic Marrakech experience

Posted Jun 27, 2017
Excellent stay. Reserved airport transport which was efficient. Riad was a gem down a small alley in the heart of the market area. Requested dinner at the riad and they cooked exactly what we wished. Room was large and comfortable and a/c was excellent. Staff was friendly and hospitable.

Fantastic Riad very close to the heart of Marakech

Posted May 21, 2017
Pros: From beginning to end of stay made to feel very welcome and looked after. excellent food both at breakfast and for the evening meal we booked.
Location: Great location. Jardin Majorelle was easy to reach by taxi, about £3. Souks, Saadian tombs and Bahia Palace all within walking distance.
Great opportunity to experience the culture of this amazing city.

A true Moroccan Riad Experience

Posted May 18, 2017
Pros: The staff were great and could not do enough for the guests. The place certainly let you feel you were in Marrakesh.
Cons: The breakfasts need to be addressed, needs cereal and more savoury options (egg or nothing). Rooms need a fridge (no fridge is normal for Riads).
Location: If you want a beer with diner the restaurant options are limited and you will pay more than European prices, however the Riad prices are fare.
If you looking to immerse yourself in the Marrakesh experience this place is for you. It is a fully renovated traditional Moroccan large house (Riad) with rooms opening onto internal court yards, roof top deck and local tiling and features. It is located within the Marrakesh lane ways and cars cannot get to within approx 200m so luggage is carried or brought in by cart. The Souks (markets) are at the end of the lane and the main square is 150m from the front door. The Riad has the feel of a large guest house where guess can intermingle or remain private within their court yard or rooms.
