“Verena was a great host. We had a large group and rented all the rooms. Everything was perfect in the house. As to location, it’s great. The train station is across the street. "Pros: located on Main Street of Interlaken, easy to walk everywhere. Spacious, modern rooms with AC that actually makes the rooms cool. Bright lights in the rest room. There is also a small terrace and partial view of mountains from the room. Cons: Understaffed for two days - room wasn’t cleaned until 4-5 PM, only one person at the front desk, staff was super busy during breakfast. The day when we are about to leave, there is a new team of staff that is much more efficient and responsive. Breakfast selection is very limited compared to other hotels of similar grade. Tiny elevator due to the building being old. Overall, the service could be better for the price of this hotel. "
