Ok place. Don't expect much.

Posted Jul 23, 2017
Bed springs were broken and bed was Daly Uncomfortable. Was offered a mattress pillow top instead of a new bed/ room. When the staff member came to put on the mattress topper, expected us to help her remake the bed. All in all, it was ok but really don't expect much

Good afternoon S, That is disappointing to hear the bed was unconformable. You should definitely not have to put the mattress protector on the bed. We have a dressed this with all our staff and done some more training around this area. Your feedback has been very valuable to us and we appreciate the time you took to leave this feedback. Kind regards Simon City Edge on Elizabeth

Great location

Posted May 24, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: The bed and pillows could be more comfortable. Improve the sound proofing to reduce the noise from the street
Location: Great location. walking distance to queen victoria market, old melbourne goal etc
The location was great. We could easily walk to many attractions and it was within the free tram zone so getting around was a breeze. It was also near the subway. The studio apartment which I stayed was really small. Bed was small as well. The room and toilet was clean. There is no room attendant to clean your room and change your towels on a daily basis. Due to the location, it was pretty noisy. We could hear noise from the streets (loud motorcycles, people laughing and skateboarding) in the middle of the night

Clean and convenient.

Had to check in late - no problem. Had a late flight leaving - no problem either. Staff was super helpful. Hotel was clean and quiet considering you are right in the heart of Melbourne.

Dirty room

Posted May 22, 2017 on Lastminute
Location great, friendly staff however when I went to have a shower there were no clean towels and a used hand towel had been left next to the sink. In other words I was checked into a dirty room- not cool. The apartments are advertised as serviced but they make you really look hard to find the fine print that says you need to pay extra for the privilege....this is really just an annoying observation, the dirty bathroom put me off.

Thank you for your feedback. We have brought this matter to the attention of the housekeeping supervisor so it should not happen again.

Pros: Location and cleanness.
Cons: For the price nothing.
Location: In CBD
Small apartment but close to all amenity. Walking distant to all location in CBD, 2 blocks to Victoria Market and 4 block in other direction to Bourke street Mall.

Convenient location

There was no noise from neighbouring units. WiFi was unusable. Very weak and worked sometimes but only from one spot in the room. Shower leaked. TV did not receive all channels

Looks good from afar. Poor customer service.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Fix the wifi! Train the staff to have better customer service skills, or at least some empathy for when their services go wrong. Clean the carpets.
Location: Walking distance from restuarants, shopping and public transport. The only good thing about this place.
The road our room was facing was very noisy so it was hard to sleep. The wifi did not work and when we finally managed to connect it was incredibly slow so it wasn't usable anyway. The handle for the water tap was missing. The carpet gave me and my friend's feet rashes. The double bed was two singled beds pushed together to form one single bed. The tv is small and too far away from the bed. SO SO DODGY. And when we went to the concierge to ask for help with the wifi, the person at the desk was very rude and talked over and belittled us. She didn't allow us to explain and rather she began speaking over us explaining the obvious (eg. "switch the wifi on on your phone, once it connects you have to sign in" all very obvious steps which we had tried numerous times, and when we tried to explain that we had done these steps already she wouldn't listen and would continue to talk over us and say these steps). Very very rude on both occasions we dealt with her. When we weren't having any luck with her, her colleague stepped in to offer some help (she couldn't fix our problem but at least she tried!) and she was much more pleasant and friendly to deal with. Also the noise was keeping my friend up at night so we asked if we could switch rooms but apparently it was full. They didn't offer any small form of compensation for all of our troubles. I would not recommend this place at all!

Great location but....

Posted May 1, 2017 on Wotif
Upon our arrival we were unsure of parking at the hotel as there was nothing listed on the page itself, so we parked around the corner at a Wilson parking facility. When enquiring about hotel parking, we were informed there was none, but if we had rang earlier, we could have arranged a park for a set dollar fee (which worked out more expensive than where we parked anyway). Parking aside we were given our room and set off. Upon entering the room, it appeared clean and tidy, but on closer inspection, the pull up blinds were damaged, chairs were stained and not overly comfortable and the bed was like a rock. Fortunately, the view of the city was beautiful and we could enjoy that from the small balcony. After a restless and uncomfortable sleep, the relaxing, hot shower was a nice way to ease the pain! While this was ok for a 1 night stay, we certainly wouldn't rebook at this hotel again

Grear location close to everytjing, clean rooms great prices, slightly noisy and a little bit cluttered, probably could jave gone 1 less chair as the rooms arent that big but other then that great value for money and anytuing you want to eat is closw by within a 50m walk
